Have You Found The One.....Or Are You

Oh, I´ve found THE ONE several times. First was when I got my first Mini Griptilian (S30V). Small, light and super strong! Then I bought the BM 707 Sequel, and wow! now I never have to buy another knife in my life (I said to myself).

The third one was BM 710 D2 (and now I was completely sure that this was THE ONE).

Didn´t take long before I ran into an BM Nitrous Stryker Mini PE D2, (what a great knife) and right now this folder is all I will ever need for the rest of my life! I´m sure.

But I know I wan´t a Sebenza but I can´t justify that kind of money for a folder when I´ve already got so many!

So far my "the one" knife is my carbon fiber Spyderco Stretch, but that doesn't mean I will ever stop buying knives, or that the Stretch will be the only knife I will ever carry, It just happens to be my favorite.....right now!

That's a very nice Kreinerson you have there. Wish I would have thought to do that with my mini-commander before I sold it. I really liked that knife.

The Gene Ingram Sodbuster. This is probably the perfect knife for me. I will let you know whenever I get mine. The waiting list is very long...

As far as fixed blades , I found " the ones " :
Blackwood Henchman and Rinaldi Matrix.

Framelock: Strider PT CC , 100% sure I could live with this one forever.

slip-joint , not yet , though I have 100% confidence when my name comes up on Kerry Hampton's list , that will be the one that satisfies my slipjoint needs in every way and then some.

When there is a fixed blade version of the Benchmade 950... I may have that "Eureka!" moment.

ETA: Folder, Benchmade 72X, been using one for a very long time, not too big, not too small, good steel, great ergonomics.

Now we're talking. I long since settled on midsize sodbusters as the right knife for me. All that's left is find the perfect sodbuster.

I think I have the perfect combo for the "perfect knife", a Lg Sebenza 21 and a Spyderco Sage II...I still won' t keep buying new knives though:p

Caly 3 for me (either flavor). Although I don't carry mine 100% of the time, it's nearer to the perfect EDC for me than anything else I've ever had.

My M4 Benchmade Rift. It is perfect for me. I buy a new one occasionally but normally it just ends up sitting in it's box. I do like trying new steels so I'm sure I will buy certain sprint run Spydercos that have a special steel if I like the knife design enough. I wish Benchmade would do more limited runs with high end steel because I really don't want to use anything but an AXIS lock anymore.

I believe I have found the "one" when I purchased my Spyderco Ti Military. I like its weight, looks, and function. The 4" blade is my preferred blade length for EDC. I like everything about it.

The problem is now I'm looking at other Titanium handled knives and I can feel the urge to buy more.
