Have you guys seen this.

i bet that ESEE will be in two pices and on their table at next years Shot show for the idiots who want new knifes display

Second, I have actually thought about doing this, but its not a very conclusive test, as the BK2's thinner edge and higher grind, gave, but once the same thickness of metal started colliding, that was the end of the forward progression of each knife through the other.

I do own both, and I do use both and both are damn good blades.

I can't believe you actually thought about this.. over and over again, especially when jeff just gave you a 5 so you'd have something other then the 2 to compare it to..

no 'test' is scientific, if performed with a free hand movement, you want a real test?? has to be done with a calibrated hammer.. I'm no scientist or a metallurgist but I can walk and chew bubble gum..;)

I don't understand all of the ill comments. He did it on his own dollar, and even as Jeff is telling him to give him his address, he refuses to do so. He did this with no intent on using the warranty, and to put his money where his mouth was.

It was stated the geometries are different, and that is likely why the ESEE looks like it did better. No need to get all upset and call him names or anything.

Hey Everybody......

All things considered, I think the whole thing is pretty funny, as a card carrying kraut with destructive tendencies, WHY DIDN'T I Think of that.......Seriously, I just realized that I forgot to ask the most important of all questions - was alcohol involved in the conception or planning phase??????.......If not why not??....

All Best....

Ya know...I think I threw-up in my mouth a little watchng that.

But then again I got a Junglas and a RATK 2
that gives me an idea.

Now if he had tried to turn either blade in for warranty replacement, I'd join you all in call him a tool. But he hasn't, and repeatedly said he won't, so I have no problem at all with it.
Would I waste my money on a test like that?
Well maybe if I was drunk...

OMG......Nothing good is gonna come from this......LOL......I can see the future and it ain't pretty.......Is there short hand for hysterical laughter?????

I wonder if the results would have been the same if the ESEE was in the vise instead of the BK2?

I wish I had that money that he flushed down the drain doing that video. :barf:

I'd buy a few Beckers.

He did two tests. One has the ESEE in the vice.

Ah, I didn't see that there was another video. I watched the first one and left for basketball practice.

Eh, well, if I am going to baton through steel, I'd probably get a........oxyacetylene torch and just cut it. Or a Busse. LOL.

He should put them in a vise and bend them cold steel style and see which one wins... Didn't I see essay 5 or what ever with a huge chunk broke out on the survial forum ?

All in good fun I would love to have that ESEE blade very nice knives.

Damn you beat that Sentence up.....;)

That was pretty damned entertaining. I'm impressed with how little damage was done to either blade. both completely useable. I did only watch one of the video's tough.

Well it proves one thing. If a the Rat pack had a knife fight with the Beckerheads at the end of it the Beckerheads would have loose handles.:D
