Have you guys seen this.

Well they are his knives but man thats a waste!
I'd rather give two good knives away to people who don't have one than intentionally destroy two perfectly good knives.
But still after this maybe now some of the hard-core haters will cut Noss some slack, lol.

OK, now I have seen the most stupid knife abuse ever.
His money his waste...proves NOTHING in my opinion.:thumbdn:

he also posted part 3 -- the attempted destruction test.
once the notches were pounded deep enough both blades were at the same thickness, all movement stopped.
at one point the hammer bounced off the esee5 and hit the edge of the bk2 -- rolled the edge of the knife and notched the 2lb hammer.
after it was over, he also showed how he was hitting the esee5 hard enough that there's a longitudinal dent in the shaft of the cold chisel he was using as a shim!

all in all, it was a "put your $$ where your mouth is" thing and the results were not what he expected -- but he owned up to that.
neither blade broke, (they were tougher than he was) he's not taking any warranty replacement, and Jeff & Ethan are sending a couple blades each to soldiers instead of to T.A.
all is good in the world.

Well I came over to say how impressed I was with the way the BK2 came out, especially for a knife in its price range; quite impressive.

But, I better get out of here before I get called a douche bag for 4 pages, my wife and mother insulted and my dog kicked.

Sorry dude I didn't mean to kick your dog, I thought it was your wife.

Ha Just kidding I had to say it......

I gotta say I really did not know what to expect but, at some point I figured there would be a stress fracture that would propagate into catastrophic failure.......I beat the crap out of a Machax with a framers hammer trying to club apiece of desert juniper to death....BUT I was hammering the SPINE--and it was 4140 at about 54-55 RC......much more malleable stuff......A dumb kraut trick but I was impressed .....I watched the late Rob Simonich baton thru a bunch of chain link with one of his early s30v blades....Rolled the edge big time but no blade failure....Anyway Tom has given us all an interesting moment or three and given 1095 an impressive workout....Take THAT you secret squirrel steels !!!!!!!.....

Interesting, Very interesting........

Thanks Tom........

All Best.....

Well, it's clear, the only loser here is the DA who did the tests! 2 great knives trashed, nothing proven...... Loser...... The best part, knowing he spent so much on knives and trashed them. his loss, our gain!

Hey man, no worries, just ignore the @$$hats that think they prove something by complaining. Most of us are pretty easy going.
