I just purchased a cold steel trail hawk and noticed that the head was a little loose. I was just wondering if this was on purpose or if i should try to tighten the head some more onto the handle? Also i took the hawk out for a test run and it performed excellently. my only concern is the loosness of the head.
I made them both.

sweet hawk...did you mod it ?would love a handle like that...my favorites are a modified SOG fasthawk and a benchmade elishewitz folder. had the knife for 18 years now and i have yet to handle one that has a better designed one-handed lock mechanism. i made a pace counter bead lanyard but it's mostly decorative.
the hawk mods are a paracord turks head knot (5 turns and 3 bights) sealed with surfboard resin. just recently added the spike pommel which is on a threaded bolt so i can change it out to something less ominous
