Hawk and Knife Combos...

I never saw this thread and don't know how! Here is what I took hunting this year- made the knives, hafted the hawk (made by an 80 year old local). The hawk has been since dyed reddish brown and looks much better:

Here is a weekend pic:

Okay, so it isn't knives, but it shows the size difference of what I usually carry, an axe and a hawk.

Here are a couple more....First photo Western Westmark knife and Raymond Richard Hawk
Second photo Peter Lagana Hawk and hand made knife.

Great combos! Here's one I carried on several trips last summer. It's a JK knife and an ATC prototype hawk.

I have no idea who made this knife. It has a canoe stamped on the blade.

R & D hawk and a kabar on my BUG OUT bag.

I love that picture, I am sure you could send it in to Tecate and
they would use it for some kind of advertisement.

Good luck and be safe, thanks for sharing the pictures bro.

I was in the army a few years ago; I belong to the GAFES (Air Mobile Group). After that I got selected to become part of a federal program to reorganize police forces at a state level all over the country.

Right now I’m working in Baja, I’m in charge of providing security for the Governor and I’m on the regional anti organized crime task force. We have a lot of work to do. But it’s getting better, at least in the north western part of the country.

Here's a matched pair, rawhide covered sheaths, 1095 carbon steel hawk and Buffalo skinner also in 1095.
