i've heard reports of wickedly uneven grinds/etc. if you call them on it, they'll fix it. however, some of the stuff made in the last few months? mmm.

i wouldn't mind scoring some stuff made a year or two ago. in particular, i got a new old stock patrol machete - was worried they were fragile per the cliff stamp review. took it out and beat the crap out of it. studly!

i LOVE my old becker machax, but have been wanting a slightly larger size, and the himalayan import "pen" khukri at 15 or 17 inches is really nice in that regard. it's very similar to the GRS model as well in profile. VERY machax feeling to me.
