Heartfelt Thanks / Contest / Entry Fee

This is a really heart-warming story, and I feel privileged that you've shared it with us. Jeff's gesture is a reminder to all of us that there are some really good people out there, and I couldn't think more highly of him after reading this.

My thoughts are with you and Sally, and I wish you all the best for her full recovery. She sounds like a very strong lady!

It brings great joy and encouragement to read your story. Thank you for taking the time to post it, and i pray that you would continue to find blessings through hardship!

I'm glad to hear everything is going good with your family and you will be able to get outdoors soon!

I love hearing stories like this because it reminds me that there are still good people in this world.

Despite the relatively small size of the ESEE board, the amount of acts of kindness that go on around here are amazing. I guess a great company brings great people together.

All the best,
SP

Cancer has effected me and just about everyone i know, but this is an amazing story of true survival, true bravery. So many people lose that battle, words cannot describe how happy i am she beat this disease. best to you guys and all others who have been affected by this.

talk about making someone teary eyed, i was listening to kings and queens - 30 seconds to mars and i read this. those of you that have heard the song know what i mean!!

What a wonderful post and a wonderful person. Thank you for the story.

God bless you. May our good Lord watch over Sally and keep her completely healed and on the road to a speedy recovery.

Very glad to hear Sally is getting well, I wish you and your family the best, and have a wonderful holiday enjoying the love of family...
And to the good folks that helped bring smiles to your faces, I wish them a Healthy and Happy Holiday as well. Its great to see and hear that we still have nice people in the world that when times are hard we can step up and help those that are in need of some help........
I for one am very glad that i found this forum because it really does have Great people that care and know how to lift the spirits, and put smiles on your face when things get looking badly. Im Honored to be here and a part of the family. Happy Holidays!

What a great story. I've frequented many forums over the years on many different topics and there are few where people continually impress me with their generosity and kindness, but this is one of those forums that are very few and far between.

As for jforbush, I'm sure he would have been fine if you never made this post because it's the act that is the reward, not the thank you. This time of year the wife and I do things for local children that won't have a Christmas and the sense of doing something for someone else without excepting something in return is such a liberating feeling.

In a world that as a whole doesn't care, select people do.

It has taken me an obscene amount of time to type this response. Usually I'm in with a quick answer or an attempt at humor, but this post made me stop for a minute and appreciate what (and who) I have.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, jforbush and his and to all my ESEE bretheren....and sister-en. :D

Guys, thank you all for your best wishes & prayers. I told Sally she could not read anything on here until after Christmas, especially since I have not told or gave her what Jeff made.
And just a side note for all who are reading this but not posting (300+ viewed, only 20 some postings), I am also running a contest for a prize since Mr. Forbush would not accept anthing in return for his work. I guess it's called paying if forward. So if you don't post, no chance to win, & I really want to do this as a way to thank him for what he did.
(And I know Sally is chomping at the bit to see this, trust me . . . :D ).
Be safe.

I'm very glad to hear that everything is working out and that Sally is doing well.
Way to be Jforbush!!! Showing the true spirit of Christmas and comraderie of the ESEE family!!
My family and I wish you and yours all the best.
Merry Christmas.

Great story. Glad to hear she is now cancer free, and is recovering.
Big kudos to JFORBUSH for what he did for you and Sally. Goes to show what a great guy he really is.

This is excellent stuff, JUST1MOR. You and your wife are truly an inspiration. Thank you for sharing.

Wow such a great story especially for right around christmas. I am so happy to hear that your wife is doing so good and that you both were able to make it through such a hard struggle. It is so great to hear about the amazing generosity of the people around here, in a world where people don't look out for each other the way they should its great to see that there are still good people out there taking care of each other. Merry Christmas and good luck.

i'm sorry to hear about your wife, but also glad that she seems to be doing better. both my mother and my little sister had breast cancer and double mastectomies, and only my mother went through chemo. My mother when i was around 10 or so. My sister was 19 or so at the time, this was about 2 years ago. In both cases it was their sense of humor that helped them though it. My mom joking about all the head scarves she had and my sister joking that she would finally get a boob job.

Anyways i wish the best for you wife and yourself. Yall will hit the 1 year mark in no time, then 5 and 10.

Great news about your wife! You will be in our prayers. Have a great christmas from my family to yours. And jforbush, seems as your great generosity matches your great work.

Glad to hear the good news for you and yours. Happy Holidays, and you and your family will be in my thoughts this season.

Just1more, so happy to hear your story. It is a true miracle when cancer is beatin back (I had to tell my dad that he had colon cancer, toughest thing I HAVE EVER DONE). Their is no feeling like the one you recieve when the tests all come back and your loved one is cancer free. It is so wonderful to hear of the kindness and generosity of complete strangers.

Mr. forbush, that is an amazing thin you did.

Merry Christmas to just1more, sally and everyone else!
