Heats, solutions, carbides etc... I am back and stirring the pot

As Matt pointed out, stirring is fun, carelessly slinging and splattering is pointless.

I have often taken some big names to task in public, but I think any of them will tell you that I did it in a respectful and civil manner and I always respect my opponent enough to question him with sound, logical and objective arguments. It is an election year, one of the biggest points that I judge a politician on is his estimation of me with his lies. A guy who respects my intelligence enough to put some effort into making his B.S. convincing will get my vote, a guy who comes to believe his constituency is so beneath him that he doesn't even need to bother won't get the time of day from me.

O.K. Kevin, I apologize!

I didn't mean for any of my joking to be taken so seriously...
I thought I put all my smilies in the right places, but I guess not.

I'm willing to drop it.

You win! :)

No apologies necessary, I have never been that big on them, since they are no more than words substituted for what can only be achieved with actions.

No, I don’t win. I think folks looking for useful and concise information win if they can find it without having to rake through four pages of unrelated clutter. This thread is now six pages long and was supposed to be about diffusional processes and resulting hardness, something that has not been directly or constructively discussed since around the middle of page two???. Forum moderators have a term for that…. Hmmm, what was that word….?

I agree!

Why can't we just cut through the clutter, and hand out some applicable recipes?

I tried to and no one said anything... ???

WTF?

We need to get you out here sometime for a full moon party. :)

This thread belongs somewhere between,… “Whine and Cheese” , and the “Pirates Cove“! :D
