Beware all politicians and lawyers……and used car salesmen. All about the same, until they prove their character. Maybe not a direct Yoda quote to Luke about fear, oh…you will be. I am referring to dealing with those three types. 😀

I frequently carry my ESEE Izula with an Ulti Clip in my pocket. Had this thing since I was just barely an adult. I'm in my 30s now and it's still going strong. Never had to use ESEE's amazing warranty. Cannot recommend enough.

I second this on the izula. I carried one for years and gave it to my kid a few years ago and she abuses it now and it just stands up to everything.

Not only does it stand up to everything, ESEE puts their money where their mouths are and have the best warranty on the market. I'm more than content with 1095 as done by them, but ESEE also makes them in Crucible steels to appeal to us knife nerds.

I’ve forever wanted the 3hm. I may make that happen today 😂

How do you like your Armiger 4?
Great little hard use budget knife. Excellent heat treatment, great steel, decent edge geometry. The only nitpick I’ve got is with the sheath being bulky. The Armiger 4 is definitely worth checking out in my opinion ( if it came in 5 inch blade it would be one of my all time favorites).

I assume that is bulky wide and flat though?

OP was mentioning concealed and inside the waistband.

And I was thinking that bulk would work in his favour a bit there.

I would have no hesitation making a knife for someone who posts publicly on Bladeforums with a paid membership, whether the age says 15 or 65. The simple fact is that someone can lie about his or her age online but if Thiess actually is 15, and had no desire to lie about it, that already sets a precedent of trustworthiness. And if he wants to buy up to $500 worth of knives, then it's fair and reasonable to trust that this is not against the rules of whomever he's dependent upon, if anyone. Why? Because who would spend $500 at the risk of and having it discovered it taken away, for starters? $500 is not chump change to most kids, as far as I know. And lastly, a hooligan or unsavory sort of 15 year old would not post on Bladeforums looking for a knife for bad purposes. He'd go into Walmart and walk out with a 7" kitchen knife for $10.

Definitely wide and flat. Not a bad sheath by any means, just feels a little bigger than needed. Taking the belt loop off and adding a Ulti or iWB attachment may be helpful. Some people may really like the sheath though - it’s ambidextrous, easy to clean, doesn’t dull the edge and carries flat.

I want to provide a quick update here, given the second guessing of Thiess08 Thiess08 that took place in this thread, including my own. I have since been put in contact with his mother, whose legitimacy I was able to independently verify, and want to make clear that there is no question at all that Thiess has the consent of his parents to purchase knives. While he could have taken my questions personally, instead he simply asked what info I wanted to verify, and provided it. The delay that caused me suspicion earlier was simply because he was in the process of walking about outside the home.

Looks like he removed his age. Well he knows he's legit, and he probably doesn't want to have to deal with the second guessing again in the future if he decides to make another purchase. I can't say I'd blame him.
