Hell Razor 2 Coming This Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 9:00 PM Eastern!!!!

Yeeeeaaaahhhh!!! This will be epic knife!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: And longer blade is always a benefit :D IMHO
I just need to decide if two or three or ... Hell Razors would be enough. :)

Yes, the more I look at this one, the more I like!
This is a VERY neat and feature packed blade, if you will please :D
At first, all I could see was a super strong resemblance to the Foresaken Steel Heart.
Not so much now. Not, that theres anything wrong with the FSH. This is just one super duper cool blade.

I guess the swedge isn't sharpened. Was it sharpened on the original Hell Razor?

Looks like i have to sit this out again but all is not lost .
I have a dinging in my ears something wicked comes my way.
Or is it somethings .
Love the hellrazor tho and i have a list and im stickin to it the only deviation shall come when the scrapyard drops something new cos im a cheap b$%*÷@#d.
And i want to give one or two gateway models away .or share em with family

Something seems oddly familiar about this model. Almost like there's something Forsaken about it. ;)

I just wander why no Hand Shape Scale option?
Is that something you can add for us Mr. Jerry Busse?

o_O What is the inspiration/reasoning behind that pommel design? Its on my Last Rites as well. Is it for parachord wrapping techniques, bottle opening, customizing, ferro rod groove, cordage making, arrow straightening and other bushcraft tasks??

Hi Jerry

Any chance of a side by side pic of an original HR and an HR2?

I’d just like to get and idea of the size difference.

Thanks - really looking forward to this, the original HR is my favourite blade and I always wanted an 8” version.

Cheers

Busse Combat is proud to introduce the Hell Razor 2 (HR2).

Here it is gang!!! One of the meanest models to ever escape the Busse Combat Shop!!! . . .:thumbsup:

It’s been nearly 14 years since the Hell Razor made its debut. It was the first Busse Combat model to feature our patented Corrugated Bevel Technology (CBT). The corrugated bevel not only lightens and strengthens the blade but reduces cutting friction as well.

The HR2 sports an 8” INFI blade and features our sculpted tip which greatly aids in ease of penetration. Our updated SF handle offers excellent control in all applications.

The HR2 is being offered in 2 blade finishes including Coated and Competition Finish. The competition finish will have light machining marks.

Let's Drink!!!

Jerry :D

Damn, damn, double-damn!! I had hoped there would be no offerings for a month or so. And/or that whatever was offered I could pass up. I swear, I was specifically thinking, “If it isn’t a Hellrazor or some form of SFNO or NMSFNO, I’m out.” I figured I was safe with that. What with the NFNO just being released. And the Hellrazor... no one was really crying for that.

What do you do? Release the Hellrazor.

You’re bad, Jerry. You’re a very bad man. :D

I just prefer my blades without mini rivers along the side of them...that's all.
I like em smooth, with no coating. Just my preference....love the style of the new release....just wish there was an option without CBT.

I'm more of a uncoated FFG guy myself. It would be really nice to have the option to get them with or without the CBT! :):thumbsup:

I, too, would love to know the story behind the pommel design. Since I have to guess, and considering this thing screams combat, in my mind, I think it might be to provide force concentrations in striking with the pommel, but not so sharp as to dig into the user while wearing the knife in any of various positions. Particularly for the original version, which I believe was about 1.5” less blade? Which would make it an easier carry on LBE. I think.

Seeing as this one is quite a bit longer, I’m guessing it is just to keep it truer to the original, thus HR2. As for the Last Rites, I’m guessing the plans were already laid to release the HR2, and the LR pommel design was chosen there to keep with a theme. And Last Rites was chosen as the name to follow that theme.

Just my meandering speculations.

Keeping with that theme — and because my bank account is taking a beating — I’m probably going to have to grab this one in Combat Grade. To have a more subdued blade. I love Comp Finish, but this thing just screams subversive action. So likely black blade. Might go green micarta. Either that or maroon. But green seems to be more ... serious? Mean? Dare I say it.... tactical? Black on black would be an option, too.

Some have said they don’t like the CBT. I’ve used it quite a bit, on the Mofo, for one (although those are smaller). Also the Fusion Battle HUCK Fin. On green, sappy wood where I live (heck, the Mofo was used limbing out freshly felled pine trees). The CBT has not been a problem with cleaning at all.

I like CBT, but I prefer more than two corrugations not including the fuller. The two corrugations on the latest CBT offerings make for a lower primary grind than I prefer.

Good looking blade. But I do prefer the look of the older CBT, with the smaller grooves. Still loving my FBM!

Hellrazor ,,, what’s left to say ??????? Sure I’ll need/want one two or five lol. That said I don’t hate the CBT, but I wish it was an option. I do prefer a saber or FFG blade, but that’s me :-)
