Hello! Almost a new member to the Hinderer family.

Can I swap standoffs without messing with the pivot only because its soo damn smooth and centered, I don't want to mess it up!

Yes.

Remove the little handle screws. I have done this, and say swap them one at a time after removing all 3 handle screws. Carefully remove the screws, remove the nuts (tap into your hand (if any are stubborn, gently push them out with a small tool, like the handle of a tiny Allen wrench). Remove the stainless standoff, put in the new part, reassemble, repeat.

Use caution, it's easier to swap these with the blade open.

You mean the standoff screws right, not pivot? I didn't want to mess with it because I'm afraid it will become uncentered and then I won't be able to get it back..

Maybe I just need to face my fears? Lol idk!

Getting your hinderer back to center after taking it apart, is as easy as they come. I've had no issue with either of mine, just have at it.

If it is possible to have a "relationship" with a knife (I think it is) that relationship is enhanced by the disassebly/reassembly process.
Enjoy! If you run into a glitch (unlikely) We are here.

Leave the pivot alone. Remove the handle screws...the standoffs are "easily" swappable without full disassembly.

Or take the thing apart, either way works. But if you like the pivot the way it is and only want to swap the standoffs, it's possible and not too difficult a task.

Right!

Get familiar with all your gear. It makes a difference in both confidence and reliability.

Okay! I just wish I had the armorers tool too. Don't want to drop the money on the titanium or steel flame version lol.

Regular one will be just fine.

If all you are doing is swapping the standoffs you need nothing more than some time and a 5/64" (IIRC) Allen tool.

I can post photos later this evening if my above posts are unclear.

Thanks! If you want you could.. I think I'll get them Thursday/Friday so ill be installing these then.

Glad to see she's treating you well. She's a tank i tell ya... a tank.
BTW- Don't be afraid to disassemble it... out of all the knives I've owned this one always centered it's self while remaining smooth and "flippable". I didn't need any loctite nor grease. Hinderer makes a damn fine blade. Enjoy Angelo my friend.

Ace thank you for everything! Really, you made one of my biggest dreams/goals come true. I've been wanting one of these ever since I saw it a year plus ago.

Also, thank you for the clarification of taking it apart. I really want to find a SS Armorers tool, but if nothing, I'll need to make something. Just don't have a dremel or anything.

Did you use CRK grease on the pivot? Or what??

Before I sent it off to you, yes I used some CRK grease. It's a match made in heaven.Glad you're happy with it, it really is a great blade and the frag scale sets it into perfection. Enjoy it brother.

A bit jealous. Really nice-looking knife. I'm hoping to join the club a bit later this month. Just have to decide on size between then and now. ;)

I'm still waiting for my first to come via mail. Dang, mail is slooow this time of year. But I already paid for it so I guess I'm a partial family member:)

Just hang out in the Hinderer porn threads until it gets there, so the anticipation gets to you. :D

That's exactly how I handle it. ;)
I only wish I could track it to ease the pain. USPS priority international doesn't provide tracking.
B.

Might be for the better. Instead of anxiously watching it's progress, it will just show up!

... yeah, I like tracking, too.
