Hello! Almost a new member to the Hinderer family.

That ti-frag is amazing, if that would have been a slicer I would have been after it too. I also have my first on the way, it should be here tomorrow, an XM-24 slicer flipper from the classifieds here listed yesterday.

You bet. There's 37 pages of threads here that I'm slowly working backwards on. I'll have to bookmark the pic threads & others that will help with my knowledge of "the big XM". :D
I like going through Rick's or dealer websites & adding to my iPhoto. I even like taking screen shots from Youtube vids that are impressive. LOVE this stuff. Thanks to y'all for helping through your posts. Just a few more days. :thumbup:

You have no idea how much time I've invested in Hinderer XM. I have come to learn that accumulation of knowledge on the path to "somewhere" makes for a much more rewarding destination.

What I'll be buying next is another G10 scale, ano standoffs & maybe a clip. I can see changing out the scale with 2 or 3 more colours in the closet.. I have a custom made bass guitar that has a change of pick guards & it's like a new bass when I "change her dress". :cool:
I'm kind of excited about this 3"er because I'm left handed & I REALLY think I'm gonna even prefer this to having it be a L/H knife. The reason being is that now I'll have a smooth palm surface with a nice finger wrap on the lock side clip contour. I have a true L/H frame lock folder & it's great but when I hold THAT one in my right hand it seems to be a better fit, if that makes sense. Being a lefty is hard work! :D

I'm ambidextrious, but do most of my cutting left-handed, so I understand. I've been known to tweak knives for use with either hand sometimes.

Don't forget about that unboxing video! I want to be there for the first flip!!!! B - you too! Would love to see an unboxing video of a person's first handling of an XM. I should have done my own!

I'm not sure I can manage an unboxing video but what I could do is take some progression still photos as I unbox it along with a mess of all-angle / closeups stuff. Not sure the brotherhood would be into that but I could start a "losing my virginity thread" :eek: - pic heavy. OR just load a few on the picture thread.

Not exactly. Many trust my word so I trust others as well. Now if someone comes bragging or mentions something super sweet, I may say prove it. My words to encourage the new guys are to welcome them and hope we get a few quality folks to stick around and share for the betterment of all.

But I am a photo guy. I feel they make every thread better. If I wanted to read a lot of words I go grab a book or a kindle.:D
 
I'm also a fan of the photo thread and photo challenge threads. Can be creative outlets and fun when people decide to play.
