Hello everyone. My name is Frank Fischer. I am 24 years old and took a recent extreme liking in building fine machines. I work out of my father's shop which is I believe is 1 of 2 in the world which builds damascus and runs a CNC mill. My father is Todd Fischer, who has given me the knowledge to complete a work of art. I draw all of my own designs and operate every machine in the shop including the haas CNC tool room mill. I truly enjoy building knives and I expect a long term commitment with the steel. I guess it rubs me the right way. Anyhow check out my first knife let me know what you think:

-4"x1.5"x3/16" s60v stainless blade scotch bright finish w/ surface ground flats 9.5" OAL
-ti jeweled frames
-black g10 onlays with orange g10 inlays, via cnc
-orange g10 backspacer
-orange g10 thumbstud spun on the lathe with a black g10 insert to dress it up a bit

Unless you`re a *paying* member,you can`t post photos here directly.... you have to post your photos to a site like PhotoBucket and then post the link here to your photos.

Thankyou very much for the inspiring words everybody! Yes this is my first and i currently have FIVE more on the way. Black and tan, tanto, hand rub, green and tan. A month ago this set of events was unimaginable, these things are flippin like hot cakes! I barely have time to work on my next design (which looks wicked!) Thanks again everyone!! Oh and a name? hows,?... journeymens folder with lava flow scales?

Sorry for the delay, all the hype i hadnt thought of a name. What do you think of Journeymens Folder with Lavaflow scales?

I like it. The Frank Fischer Journeymen's Folder. However, I also like the name "Jaw dropper," as that is what happened to me when I saw your knife!
