It will kick in sometime Monday. Also try clicking "user cp" and change user group, it might show up there.

Hmmm... not to detract the thread further but, I just upgraded to "Gold" and the option was available immediately.

Frank, did you get a confirmation email?

If that's your first knife, you have a future in the industry. The blade looks excellent, awesome job on that. I have a question for you-was the grinding done by hand, or with the use of a jig and an a milling machine?

That's a hell of a first knife, Frank. I'm hoping to some day get into the craft as well, and I'm certain my first attempt will be nowhere near as nice as yours.

We don't do 3d milling yet. I ground it by hand on belt grinder with a 10" wheel. It did take me 4 sessions to grind it.

D'oh!
I just realized that I commented about your group membership and not your most excellent job on the knife.

I would very much like to do that some day, perhaps when I move to a house (and out of my condo).

If that is your very first attempt, I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot from you in the future!

Please post your subsequent knives.

:thumbup:That's a perfectly centered blade & you got it down on the first try?!?!

I'd love to see a Ti-Framelock like this with a full flat grind, minus the recurve(but that's just my preference)

Astounding work overall IMO.Especially for a first knife:thumbup:

...reminds me a little of a Kershaw

What a great day! I am now taking orders for this model. Color options; green, blue, tan, red, orange, and black G10, carbon fiber and micarta. Also available with a tanto, pics coming soon!

Even though you have purchased a knifemaker membership, you should not be selling or soliciting sales in the "General Knife Discussion" forum. Do it in the Knife Maker's for Sale Area subforum.

Very good first effort, by the way.

Sweet looking knife. I am a lefty so I have a request for future products - ambidextrous thumb studs please. But I really, really like your knife!
Bob
