Hello Old Friend, 710 content..

KM, I really need to get me a set of green Micarta scales. After it's blade replacement, it'd be like having a new knife.

Great pics Keyman. What is scale with holes on 710(second last on your pics),is it bone?

I've got two 710D2, 710-101, 710-2, and a 710T. I've been mulling over swapping the red G10 from the 710T onto the 710-2, but I'm liking the aftermarket scales in the photos in this thread. I'm scared to ask what they cost, though.

Been curious about the 710 for a fair time now- partially thanks to this thread I took the plunge! Got this the other day and am mightily impressed! I got this on the cheap and will be getting a plain edge that is more my style. Great ergos, blade shape and a lot of knife in a slim light package. I like!

Absolutely love the 710! Arguably my favorite Benchmade model. I just wish they offered a non-recurve version...

710 carries very well to have a 4" blade and is unbelievably smooth opening/closing. Now if there were a 710 version that offered the same length blade but similar to the Ritter Grip blade in shape and stonewashing...look out.

The reverse curve has been around for centuries. The blade sinks in as drawn back, and is very effective. With practice and a round ceramic or diamond rod, keeping the edge sharp is easy.

I have a 710 in D2 with custom scales. Really do love this knife! I had an older model that I used for years but gifted it to my son-in-law.
