Help buying my first Busse

Ok guys I'm taking the plunge. I've decided to go ahead and get the BWM!!! I like the satin blade finish on the LE But it's 200.00 more. Does anyone know anything about the saber grind and how it compares to the convex?

Just get the CG/convex model with the coated blade. You'll be able to tell a lot from handling it, and it will be easier to sell for your original investment if you decide to move it along.

By the way, INFI typically will not chip--it will roll if you give it a steady diet of chopping rocks and concrete, but usually to get it to tear out or chip or even roll to the point where it's not easily restored you would have to first reprofile the factory edge to a much thinner/more fragile edge. Reports of that kind of damage are rare, and when they appear here it's typically after someone has thinned a factory edge out to a much more delicate profile. But even if any of these things happen, i.e. if you damage the edge in any way that makes it hard to re-sharpen, Busse will reprofile and resharpen the edge for you.

Well guys. It looks like I missed out on the SAR 3. This sucks. I'm thirty minutes late and they're all gone.

Don't give up hope quite yet. Skunk may just need to clean out "baskets" where prospective buyers who didn't consummate purchase have knives stashed--i.e. the inventory could still be refreshed in a few minutes/hours.

Also, even if this offering is done, there will often be other, differently finished models of the same design offered within a few days or a week or two after the first offering of a Company Store run.

I too am still new to the busse thing, rogerschrisj, and I'll be honest. I am almost shocked at the craziness that can occur in the infihog world. These guys are totally ruthless, total hog-eat-hog world sort of thing. I may be only 34, but I have never seen anything like the way these people salivate over infi steel.

Mind you, I haven't laid hands on any yet. Never even seen a busse in the "flesh", so I imagine things will change when I get my boss street and bwm..

Good luck getting one of these without having to buy it secondary Cadman. I tried until around one o'clock last night and have been check the website for the better part of the day. If you happen to score an extra look out for a fellow newbie!

I for one love the feel of the boss street. Fills the hand nicely. Will do great for utility and bushcraft (although at .22 it won't be as thin as some bushcrafters, but it will work for what you need. I edc the .22. Gw.

For the tactical side, Ash1cg is bomb proof. Tank buster would be a great option too.

Chopper, looking at a Mistress, any flavor will get the job done.

Hey guys. I am sort of new to Busse knives. I am trying to decide on which ones to buy. Talk about hard decisions! So I don't buy something and then see something I should have bought instead, is there a list of all the Busse knive with pictures somewhere? I checked the website and all I saw were the current production blades. Thanks guys.

definitely some of the choppers (the natural outlaw is my personal favourite). You are getting much more infi for the money, besides if you need smaller knife it does not need to be super strong unless the butter you put on your sandwich is super tough)::

I do use by smaller blades for batoning sometimes. (Smaller limbs and things of that sort) For that hard to deal with butter I am thinking of getting an HG 55! Still not sure yet though.
