Does that classic utility knife have a full tang? In not, what kind?![]()
Thanks,

Myakka: Please stop posting, I'm sick of it.
OK guys, you all know I have a pile of 4" knives...I am however missing from my collection a real bushcraft knife../Hmmm. "pile."
Please answer the following questions:
1. Of this pile of kinves, is there at least one that: a) cuts wood well - like shaving a "fuzz stick"; b) has a point that readily allows drilling holes? If the answer is yes, you have a real bushcraft knife.
2. If the answer is, no," you defy the rule that even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.![]()
Bretheren (and Sisteren), isn't it amazing that all those people existed in the woods for centuries without the benefit of a "bushcraft knife" -- which MUST have a "Scandi" grind (relatively rare among knives made in Scandinavia - but what do they know?)

Given that the plastic handle is molded around the "stick" tang, it's not full-length.Got a dumb question do the mora's with the plastic handles have a full tang as well? I think I've read somewhere that the plastic models do not and the traditional red wood handled ones do.
I don't think it gets much better unless you are wanting something larger. I have been carrying this one for about 1 1/2 years daily. It is the Brusletto Profileringskniv.
Most nessies lack the drilling point called for in an "official" "Bushcraft" knife. They are optimized for skinning and general slicing....But in all seriousness would you guys agree that a nessie is a bushcraft knife as well? I am pretty commit to getting one of those first!
The EKA Nordic W11 is kind of similiar to SpookyPistolero's beauty!
