I do not know the right place I write? October 24 I paid for the knife Lochsa from Scott Cook but still did not get it how I see the knife has not gone beyond the U.S., and I live in Russia, that's parcel number :

Let me know when it arrives safely please. I am also looking and will
ship a gift for you.

I've sent a knife to the Ukraine and it took almost 3 months for the buyer to receive it. The problem with tracking internationally using the US postal service is that after it leaves the United States, it's out of their hands and tracking updates are difficult to come by when it gets into the destination country's postal system. Unlike Fedex/UPS/DHL, where the packages are handled by their own agents in the destination country.

If I were you I would contact the knife maker.
When I ran tracking on the label # you posted it shows that the package was delivered to Meridian Idaho on November 5th.

We have too much ambiguity here, far too many holes in what you are saying.

When did you buy the knife? The exact date?
Whom did you buy it from?
Where did you buy it? On this forum? Another forum? Ebay? Scott Cook?

Have you tried emailing the seller?

A friend of mine shipped to Moscow, 2 different packages within a 3 day time frame. Both packages were insured, customs forms filled out correctly, only 1 made it. One was a back pack, the other was a folder. The folder didn't make it. It took 2 months to go from Texas to Moscow, yikes.

RD: It doesn't look good. I'm reading he was on Scott's list, and Scott fulfilled his order on Oct 24th. Shipped directly from him via USPS.

Burl Source provided the only final clues. It was dispatched out of Meridian to USPS International postal handling on Nov 5th. From there? 'Poof'-- no further location.

Shipping knives to Russia continues to be troublesome. Certainly from normal channels.
 
I gave the order number, I bought the master Scott Cook, from the U.S. knife did not come out as, I think everyone understands the knife expensive, can the master something happened?, maybe someone knows him personally? To buy this knife I sold the car, please help!!!Its a very big problem for me,Last time Scott wrote me at 3 th dicember`&I SO SORRY BUT MY ENGLISH VERY BAD!!!!!!!!BECOUSE I BORN IN USSR& IN THIS COUNTRY DIDNT LERNING ENG LANG.Sorry!

I have had good luck shipping to Russia via USPS Express. I think any country the best way is to ship Express, might cost a bit more but it's worth it!

I hope you get your knife!!
 
Just my 2 cents. I shipped a knife to the Ukraine and lost track of it after it left the U.S. It did get there but took 3+ months.

We understand your frustration more than your English. Don't worry about that. :D

There is NOTHING anyone can do right now for you. Two times in this thread people have said it took 3 months to have package arrive to the Ukraine. You are into your second month. I hate that this has happened, but you need to wait one more month!?

In the future, you HAVE to pay extra for a better shipping service to Russia/Ukraine. The standard rates are going to do this.

I wish you better, and I wish Scott would have answered this for you and not me. Poor communication is the foundation for frustrations.

That a responsibility of the SELLER or MAKER to help and follow through on his paying clients.

Good News: A package with foreign paperwork was shipped from Kuna Idaho.

Bad News: The package never arrived at a foreign sorting center in the United States. This means it was not sent out of the U.S. The package was delivered to an address in Meridian Idaho.

With regards to whom is responsible for what, I would never presume to tell a knifemaker how to run their business unless asked.

Мы отправляем в Россию и Украину почти каждую неделю. Мы очень хорошо знакомы с процессом.

Хорошие новости: пакет с иностранным документов был отправлен из Куна Айдахо.

Плохие новости: Пакет никогда не прибыл в иностранной сортировочного центра в США. Это означает, что не было отправлено из США пакет был доставлен по адресу, в Меридиан Айдахо.

Что касается которых отвечает за то, что, я бы никогда не берусь сказать knifemaker как вести свой бизнес, если нет.
 
We provide almost too much information and advice in the FEEDBACK forum stickies. If people don't read and follow this, and don't use the most secure shipping methods, there is nothing we can do to help.

Patience is hard to come by, especially with an expensive item. But some places take a long time to deliver to under even normal circumstances.

I wonder if Scott Cook knows the knife is still in transit or missing.
 
yes with Russia has problems, but why so reputable seller does not answer my letters? Most importantly, I did not see anything that can show me the fact that the knife came from the United States, what is the difference from Russia I or from another continent? I paid the money, why I have not received the goods?
