So, Im going to Smoky Mountain Knife Works soon, and I would really love to hear some of your recommendations for a folding knife under $150. Before you tell me, I do have a PM 2, so thats out of the question (even though i would buy it again if i had all the money in the world) but anyways I want something no bigger than 3.5 inches and would like a good strong lock and relatively light (no heavier than 4 ounces), so if anyone could recommend a knife similar to these specs that would be great, thanks!!

I forgot to mention that, I ordered a custom Benchmade mini grip from bm a while back, I still love it but the knife bug has bit me and I need more!! lol

I feel ya.. I have wilkins ti scales and large grip with awt scales coming..Along with 2 other knifes and tactical pens.. Bug bite me hard.
The next one is a zt knife for me.. just too many to chose from and most look like a brick house.

Yep, one of these days i need to save up and get a Sebenza, or an XM-18? or possibly a Strider. Too many awesome knives not enough money.

I was looking at the ZT 0566 and at SMKW they are $145. I will definitely take a look at those.

I'm sure you could find a ZT 350 in that price range also. Possibly the 450 near that price. Worth looking at all three as they are quite different from each other.

I have taken a look at those before, I like the designs but they are a bit too big for my taste, thanks though!

Buck Marksman is worth a look I think, $100 or so I think. ZT are also a great option if you can get it in your range.

I was also going to suggest the Buck Marksman. The only one I have actually seen in the wild and held in person was also at SMKW. Went to TN on vacation last year. Its a cool store with lots of selection.

Just be sure you have at least 4 or 5 hours to spend there. That place is huge and you can definitely find something to spend your money on. We have a place in Gatlinburg so I drop the wife and Granddaughters off at the outlet mall in Sevierville and spend at least 4 hours there every time we go down.

Im actually spending a whole afternoon at smkw, and I've been there 3 times, and i still haven't looked at the whole store! I go up to Gatlinburg a bunch, and smkw is one of the reasons I go!

FWIW, I just saw a ZT 450 in the forum exchange for a good price. Small, light, and still fairly stable.

I actually will probably get the ZT 450, when I saw 450 I thought you meant the 350, for some reason. But the ZT 450 seems to fit my needs for right now, titanium handles, frame lock, S35VN, KVT ball bearings, flipper and made in the USA for $160? Pretty sweet deal. Thanks!

Nice, I will definitely take a look at it, but Im probably going to go with the ZT 450, thanks for the suggestion though!
