O.K. I got this email August 30, 2007 in regard to a knife I purchased.
It was shipped from XXXXXXX, but the return address is for XXXXXXX. I went down to the office I shipped it from, and the supervisor told me that 2 weeks for a 1st class package was "too soon to push the panic button". He said it will most likely show up eventually, but that the automated system they use that reads handwritten zip codes sends things all over the place all the time. I never heard of this sort of thing, myself.
I'm so sorry that this has become such a hassle. I always ship these things Priority, but I had my wife do this one cuz I've been so busy with the tourists that come to town this time of year, and I didn't specify for her what to do. Unfortunately it didn't have insurance or delivery confirmation like I thought, so if this doesn't make it to you shortly I'll have to just eat it and refund your money out of pocket. They told me it would most likely show up to you, or get returned to me. I will be anxious to have either happen. He told me to come back if 30 days passes, which seemed extreme to me, but he said it probably went somewhere else first, and is making its way around to Quincy. Again I'm really sorry. I messed up on my end not getting a tracking number put on it, and I'm really sorry. I'll make sure this is taken care of one way or another though. I promise. Thanks Peter for your patience and understanding.
Still I have nothing for my $250.00. He said he had all kinds of problems (health and such) so I said I could wait. But He continually buys and sells here
(I emailed and he said he usually has to sell anything he buys because he can't afford it) That was March so I waited a little longer and I sent an email saying he could send small amounts or I would even take a trade, and the last time I said I would take an item he was selling for $200 and we could call it even. he never replied and then I got a little angry and asked him to man up and get me my money ASAP it was 8 months at that time. So every time I see an item for sale from him I send a little reminder email (not to polite) asking for my money back.
I don't want to smear his name and I really think he is a good guy, Itrader confirms many of you have had good dealings with him, I just get a little heated every time I think if this
So...... Any advice?
