no problem Rob, they look tough!

any reason the tim galyean pro series didnt make it to the list? ;)

EDIT: horton knives are also made entirely in the US.

Good idea Rob.

I think I may stay with listing only manufactors though. There are ALOT of custom makers here in the US. Alot of great ones at Blade each year, and thats just a smidge.

The custom makers here won't be that many though.
Here's a few that post (or sell) here... that I can think of at this time.
-NWA, Tony Bose, Rick Menefee, Kerry Hampton, Bret Dowell, Ken Ericson,
David Mosier, Tom Krien, Sean O'Hare.

Thanks Ken

I'm always open to finding new custom makers and seeing their work. I'm relatively new to the custom scene, but if they meet the criteria, I'll add them. I realize the list may get long, but it's a nice reference for me, atleast.

:)

then midtechs come into play.

ex. tim galyean makes both full custom knives and has his midtech "pro series" line.

another USA maker is hogue, they only have one model at the moment (EX01) but is made in the US. paso robles, CA to be specific :D

I'm guessing William Henry is considered midtech.
And are the blades still ground by the gentleman in Japan?

Leadfoot

Thanks Beth, good to know.

I think I'm going to keep this strictly knifemakers though, I'm having a tough time keeping up as it is. ;)

Lamson and Goodnow, I think.
Entrek
R. Murphy
Knives of Alaska?
Vaughn (hatchets), Estwing (hatchets)
TOPS
Fehrmann

Grohmann's are all made in Canada, eh.

I think limiting the list of custom makers to knifemakers who post regularly on BFC is still going to be a daunting task.
