What is the difference between the tropic thunder machete and the fell beast?

The Tropic Thunder is my take on a truly stainless, lightweight, classic machete for use in costal and tropical climates. Looking at using .110in LC200N steel for max stain resistance combined with good toughness and edge holding BUT if Z Tuff proves to be as stainless as it appears in studies I might just use Z Tuff for this model as well. Looking at making 18 and 14in blade models. Weight will be under 20 ounces for the 18in model.

The Fell Beast is a heavy machete designed for hard use in temperate forests where you will encounter everything from blackberries and green saplings to hardwoods and fence post shrubs like juniper. The Fell Beast is my personal favorite blade ever. It can really do it all. The new Legacy Prime model is even tougher and stronger than the original and offers significantly more chopping power while keeping the overall weight and balance in check.

Ive spent months researching bladed tools/weapons and have easily spent a few thousand on them, I have used the shit out of now hatchets/axes/ machetes/ short swords bushcrafting on my land, I can say even without holding one that the fell beast may be one of, if not the best bladed weapon for the coming struggle, I am stoked to have a chance to hopefully obtain one of these badass blades, Mr hunstman is there any time frame on the ztuff fell beast, its obvious im jonesing, i apologize

The Z Tuff run is being milled now. They are roughly a month away. Ill keep posting updates as they progress.

Also, when the world inevitably breaks down, I'll be sure to have a few of these in my personal stash.

I think I need to laser in "for the coming struggle" on a few of these 😅

Thank you for the update, ill stop hounding you and try my best to wait patiently lol, not a bad idea to have a few ready to go, rifle and full size bladed weapon will be meta in apocalypse, gonna have to full gurilla it if youre wanting to survive a reset haha.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. Albert Einstein
Everyone enjoy the summer.

Got the 52100 Prototypes back today. 59 RC with a full differential temper.

I had these heat treated at Kowalski HT in Cleveland and I'm blown away with the results! They used a propriety method to get the differential temper as close to the edge as possible. These things are basically a leaf spring with about a half inch 59RC steel at the edge. I did a ton of testing today and the edges are super stable and holding up to abuse even with an ultra thin grind. I took my test blade down to near kitchen knife thinness and it blasted through hardwood like butter without any damage or deformation. Took it to 120 degrees in my makeshift non OSHA approved vice and it came back true.

Very impressive for a non PM steel.

I'm calling this stuff "Super 52100."

These will be ready for sale this weekend at very low prices for the prototype run so get ready!

All I can say at this point is this kicks ass, will there be a sheath/ an option to purchase a sheath for extra? Id pay good money willingly for one so I don't have to outsource, thanks brother.
