Hi Shmulik...each of the posts in this thread are numbered. If you look in the top right corner of each post, you'll see that this is post #43, your last post was #42, loandr.'s was #41, etc.

Good luck with your purchase.

simply honoring your request in post #40 sir. made my statement/post prior to seeing it, and wanted to abide by accordingly :-) Hope all works out my friend.

My first order with Mike was right about $1200.00. I don't usually spend that much the first time I do business will someone, but he had what I wanted at what I thought was a very fair price. One of the knives I had ordered was still in production at the time I ordered. Mike told me it would probably be a couple of weeks before he shipped. While waiting I asked about two other knives I wanted totaling around $500.00. Around the third week I started to get nervous. I hadn’t sent the additional $500.00 and E-mailed Mike that in the interest of trust he should send what he did have in stock, and the additional items, and I would pay for them the day they arrived. (BTW Mike responded to all of my E-mails throughout this). The knife I was waiting for was the production DKD Phantom. Mike got the Phantom two days later. He shipped it and the rest of my order AND the additional $500.00 order before I paid him. Everything I ordered was exactly as promised and better than expected. Sorry to hear about your delay Shmulik, E-mail can get lost or caught in a junk bin. Things do get lost in the mail. I'd bet another order on it Mike will make it right. I’ll absolutely do business with him again.

Had to put my two cents in

Regarding the other thread concerning Mike, and the last person to post there. I also ordered the same time that that poster did. Several of us did. My knife was also late in coming, so I emailed him. He emailed me back that he was shipping, and I received it promptly after that. At that time Mike claimed to have had a problem of personal nature, and I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

About emails not being responded to, I’ll say this. It’s possible Mike may have some organizational issues. I say this because from reading here and the other thread I see he’s had problems. But also, when our transaction finished, I wrote him and thanked him for getting me a desired knife at a great price. He responded and said to let him know if I ever wanted anything again. I responded by asking about one, maybe two other knives I may have been interested in. He never got back to me after that. He never responded to an enquiry about a possible sale. If all he did was duck emails about current sales, that would admittedly be a “red flag”. But not responding to a possible sale isn’t exactly something someone would do if they were out to take someone’s money. That’s why I wonder if it may be something along the line of organizational problems than just dishonesty.

On the thread with masterchief, I read the whole thread several months after the fact, and around the same time the last poster in that thread posted. I don’t remember all the details, but that thread did leave me with the impression that Mike did stand up and try to make things right. It was after reading that “whole” thread that helped put my mind at ease about the purchase I had at the time going with him. Of course, it was a little hard to decipher all of what was happening on that thread since many of the posts were edited and deleted by the time I read it.

If the situation warranted, I would be willing to do business with him again however, I probably wouldn’t risk high money transactions.

Here’s a couple posts from that thread:

SPYDERMAN has shown that he knows how to do the right thing. I am very glad to see that all the good feedback he has received seems well founded. We can all make mistakes. It was what we do to rectify those mistakes that tells others what kind of people we are. SPYDERMAN has done the right thing and I commend him for it.

I have stayed away from these forums the past few days and here is why. My whole approach to this GBU was rude and down right stupid. I didn't handle myself properly and was embarassed of my actions.I did not read through the rest of this thread because I learned of one person who is a disrespectful member and I didn't want to learn anymore. The people that stuck by me in belief that I spoke the truth I thank you and will NEVER forget. SPYDERMAN has emailed me and has offered to make this right.I DID NOT ask for a refund or a new knife. As far as I'm concerned it has been made right and I thank you SPYDERMAN. I will ALWAYS think twice before posting and I will ALWAYS take the other persons feelings and reputation into consideration before any words are written. Thank you all!!!! Mike
There are others that are worth reading, including one with Mike “oweing up” to the situation.

It may well be that he has organizational problems. It does seem that Mike always ends up doing the right thing, he just sometimes seems to take the long way around getting things done. In business, that could eventually cost him big time.

Well said.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.
I'm very glad to hear people having good experince with Mike, and as I wrote in the beginning of the thread- I made a couple of succesful transactions with him- and that's exactly why I felt so confused and even worried as I described.

Anyway- As I said- I take it upon myself to let everybody on this Forum know that (I hope)- Things will come to a succesful ending.
Shmulik
