Help With Mad Max: Fury Road knife ID

I went to see the movie in world premiere day, and I did not even notice the knife.. and this comes from the guy who spots and identifies knives in movies and series' like everybody does. Max does't even use the knife. Only similar thing I did notice was Max's paracord bracelet. :D

I seen the movie yesterday and it was ok. It is basically a 2 hour chase. First they chase everybody in one direction and then they chase everybody in the other direction.

I noticed the knife in an instant. I was wondering what it was, I am glad I tuned in to hear some suggestions.

My online search says it is a Chris Reeve Pacific.

Perhaps the Pacific was a left over personal remnant of Max's pre apocalyptic cop days. Just as his car, and sawed of double barrel were.

Nope, and he wouldn't have extra magazines on him either. The events in Road Warrior were supposed to have taken place in the late 90's IIRC, I grew up with these movies and this one was barely better than Thunder Dome

Thank you!

This is very Mad Maxy indeed, which leads me to believe it was either CRK or Harsey that contacted the producers, not the other way around. My guess is they where going to use whatever no-name no-quality knife.
Yep!
Its a pity.
The bloke should have had a shot at the silver screen.
Hooroo.

I was really disappointed how awful this movie was.

literally everyone else ever thinks that it was awesome

not a whole lot of movies can pull a 98 critic score. higher rated than any of the originals. Also for people saying it was feminist propaganda or something like that, Max did like every bad ass thing in the movie. In the originals Max didn't talk much either, it suits his character. Its cool about max using a pacific though i think he used a folder at some point but its too dark to see what it is

OK I just watched this movie.

I thought it was so-so, it had good parts and bad parts. I can understand why some think it's awesome and also why some others think it's feminist junk.

What I cannot understand, however, is why Max doesnt USE THE DARN KNIFE. Not a single time, even in battle.

It gets ridiculous when by the end of the film he actually needs a knife and instead of using his, he desperately searches for one to use. Yes, this happens.

I think Tom Hardy didnt even know he have a knife attached to his jacket.

Oh well....
