Help with my next pistol?

IMG_2700.jpg IMG_2701.jpg IMG_2702.jpg So, the place I was shopping for the P-365 still didn't get the two without the safety in.

I called half dozen places, then I found a store that had the NRA sig saurer p-365 brand new gen 3.

I have to clean it, it's covered with oil. I'll order the tustler IWB holster and a alambama holster for pocket carry. Thanks for all the help.

IMG_2748.jpg Just got back from the range. The Sig Saurer p-365 performed flawlessly.

I shot 200 rounds of blazer brass, and 50 rounds of federal hollow points. Zero issues.

I really like federal premuim HST 124 grain JHP for self defense ammo.

The only other thing I might do is get rubber talon grips for it.

Black talon grips will probably look Hot. Ok, now I have to sell some knives. Lol

While there are different build dates Sig Sauer officially doesn't say that there are different generations

Doesn't say gen 3 anywhere. Seems like the 2019 are referred to as gen 3.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm really disappointed in Federal for changing their HST 124gr +P to law enforcement only. I was pretty happy with the way it shoots and the overall characteristics. Standard pressure 124 gr HST shoots too low for me.

I was looking into companies that do grip jobs? Some actually stipple the polymer, they look great.

Seems like it cost $50 up to several hundred. The grip is grippy where sig put texture. I'd like more texture. Has anyone had this process done to their firearms? How do you like it?

Is the slide release particularly stiff on your new P-365?
I had a friend stop by with one, still relatively new. The slide release was quite stiff, even without a magazine inserted. Other than that, seems like a great little firearm.

Yes it is, it was much more stiff before I took it to the range. It's not as bad now, I'll bet it gets better with time.

The CZ 75 sp01 is on consignment at the range for $475. They get $50, they aren't to good with communication, so I have to call about every 10 days to see if it sold. Never found the case. Oh well, I'll find it as soon as it sells. Lol

IMG_2791.jpg IMG_2792.jpg Just received the rubber talon grip for the p365. This gives it some more needed grip higher up on the grip. My hand wants to move down on the grip without this.

Find a range that rents firearms, and try out the models you’re interested in to get a feel.
