1095 holds a razor edge longer than 440C.
440C holds a working edge decidedly longer than 1095.
It's all about the carbides. (Come to the dark side, Luke. We have CARBIDES.)

I would say to you this......the pre-holidays is the Custom Shops busiest days, I would say that you would be best served to call the factory about delievery time if you just have to have it on or before the 25th...and I mean call tomorrow.

I personally think rivets go well with stag on a 110. Good Luck. I will wave when you bob to the surface now and then........

That's beautiful but it's a LOT of knife. Like 300bucks- I've never taken the 110 plunge (Everytime I am in a wally world I almost do), I just don't need that much knife and my phone weighs down my pocket enough as it is.
 
I've had a 110 before and loved it, but I didn't care much for the 420hc (let's just agree to disagree :)). That's the beauty of it...I already know I'll like everything about the knife, and now I can order it how I want it!
