From the depths of page three... Yeah I wish, I'm substituting the plural "babes" for the singular "babe" (yeah this caveman scored a date with a cutie back home), and Florida for Dirty Jersey, and Beer for...oh wait I will be drinking :D

I did the Miami spring break once when I was in college and it wasn't all that. Your spring break sounds pretty sweet. Good luck on the date!

I just had an ebay seller try and offer me only a 50% refund after my purchase was lost by USPS. He said he wanted to propose "a solution where we both incur some of the responsibility since as you said you agree "neither of us is at fault".

This is after I had already done all of the leg-work with USPS and requested a 100% refund from the seller (per ebay policy). He did refund me the full amount, but apparently wanted to try to guilt me into accepting a loss for the deal.

I plan to leave neutral feedback at this point since I did not receive the item and seller didn't deserve a positive feedback after that. Is that harsh? Would you mention the 50% offer in the comment line?

Would I? Yes, I would mention that he tried to guilt you into taking back half of what he owed you. I don't understand all the time why people do stuff like that. When sending a knife I almost always send it insured, especially if it was something that was bought by someone else, I send it Insured with D/C.

Thanks,I don't get it either. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

I almost always get the insurance too, since I assume responsibility as the seller/sender (unless shipping internationally). If I don't then that's my risk/ reward.

Dang guyon, that steak looks great. You liked the eggacado, huh? I saw that recipe and thought it looked interesting, I've yet to give it a shot for myself though.

Tried the eggacado recipe in W&C and found it to be tasty.

And beef. It's what's for dinner.

Well, you weren't at fault. And even though USPS takes the main blame, it's on the seller to get the item to the buyer.
He should have insured, even if he needed to fold that charge into his shipping price.

Yeah that's essentially what I told him before he "explained" his "offer".

He is the seller, he chose the shipping method, he chose not to purchase shipping insurance (which would have been $1.95 on $45 value). Why should I bear any of the risk?

Then turned on Lamb of God on Pandora. That should be a fairly snark-ish introduction.

I was browsing the forums in my study hall earlier. There's no talking and the class was packed, then I read this and started laughing my ass off. I couldn't help my self nor could I stop myself.

Thanks :D:D

I had to run out again. While I was out I turned on the Amon Amarth rockopera: Wraith of the Norsemen. All 3 albums. Even at half volume I could hear it rather clearly halfway to the elevators which is on the opposite side of the building. Mind you, the rest of the people on my floor are currently at work. Their dogs, however... poor things, are not.

trying to send out a package but address is invalid... is "fort drum, ny 13603" a real place? usps gives me alternative city which is "waterfront, ny 13603" I can't get into contact with this person cause there email is invalid.... already made is item and now I am hesitant to ship... I have no way to contact this person... should I write him a letter to both address and see what happens?

You should play Quiet Riot. Then you could enjoy it, while you wake them up.

How did they contact you first?

Drone just flew over the house. Less than 70 feet up.

I'd be wearing a baseball cap all the time. Never have seen one, personally, and I'm usually pretty observant of what's going on. Did you hear it or see it first?
