It's one of the very rarest Old Timer knives. Unfortunately it appears to be in pretty rough condition. I don't buy used knives, especially broken used knives, so I won't be bidding on it.

I thought you guys would like to see this though, since they are so uncommon.

Thanks for posting the link Bob, Stark contrasts between the two knives 2OT & 3OT we have seen posted here lately and the used and not stored properly knife above. Maybe someone could somewhat bring it back to life.

It would make a nice user, if the price stays below ten dollars. Would need to re-grind the main blade though; it's been sharpened to a concave shape. And although the carbon has a heavy patina, there doesn't appear to be any rust, so a light buffing would bring those blades back to shiny-new.

I generally preach against altering or buffing collectible knives, but since this one is already used I don't see the harm, especially if someone was cleaning it for their own personal use.

The tang stamp on the knife above seems to be different from the pictures linked below for lrv's website, there seem to be more characters on the e-bay model. maybe it's something or nothing.

The Collectors website doesn't have a good shot of the tang stamp, so I can't tell.
