Here's A Sneak Peek At The "Team Gemini" 7 . . . . .

Anybody remember a thread last year.

I don't recall what got it going but alot of us like the ka-bar design but all agreed it needs THE JERRY BUSSE TOUCH!

I think we got it.

mossgreen blade tan micarta handle. Bring on the goods.

OK I'll be the first one to say that it doesn't look like a kabar. It looks different and it looks better, I think it looks more like a combat SH. If you like kabar then you'd like this I wouldn't deny that. But I think its a far more original design by Jerry then he is given credit for. At the same time it follows the classic knife shape without excesses making it well suited for camping unlike some of the Ramboids currently on the market. I can't wait to get my hands on one. Makes me wonder how great the custom shop versions are gonna look like, I just wish I had access to some of the shows that Busse Combat attends like some of you east coast guys.

Thanks! That's an awesome green.

Sooo how long does Jerry take to work his magic, once he gives a sneak peek?:D

This is a great design and personally I would like it in Satin or DC as is! Gotta have one!:thumbup::D

The handle looks almost like a traditional kukri handle to me. I'd love to see a photochop of the handle minus the guard on a Killa Zilla.

I like the blade alot, but not the shape of the handle. Put that blade and keep the length, and put it on a SFNO style mag handle and you've got a winner in my book. This handle tries to mimic an old school military pommel style handle, what Randall calls a "border patrol" style handle. Problem is that's a classic design, and it doesn't pull it off to do it in G-10 and just mold it to that shape. It works when you have classic materials and design, like a wood or leather handle with brass or nickel pommel and guard. But all in G-10 it just looks weird and out of place. I love the blade and the fuller though. And I like the straight off the edges guard. Good stuff! Just put it on a handle that's appropriate for the materials being used. I think the SFNO handle would fit it just right.

I really like that design. I think that handle, thinned out a little, would go good with a double edged blade. Kinda like the Fairbairn-Sykes or Gerber MK II daggers. I don't know how Jerry or the trough feel about daggers, but I'd buy one. I'd also buy a "Team Gemini."
