Must have been the trip he just made, the higher altitude has effected his brain, that will likely go away after his brain adjusts over a short period of time. :D

This would be an excellent designed knife to lash to a pole if need be, you know for a spear type weapon or game getter.

Shocking, isn't it? :eek: :foot::confused:

It MIGHT have something to do with the fact that I haven't found a new job in my new city yet.

Maybe.

;)

Good looking knife - I'll buy one if the price is right!:D

Spoken like a true jarhead, Tom. Of course Marines would like it. But some of us former airmen and soldiers like it too. I was issued the Camillus 7" ka-bar style combat knife in Thailand while serving with the 56th Special Ops Wing. I broke a few of them. This one from Busse looks to be Marine, Soldier, and Airman proof! I like it, and if I can afford it, I plan to buy one. As I said earlier, the Gemini 7 is like a ka-bar on steroids. I am not worried about the choil or talon holes. :D

Marine Proof?

I dunno about that, Jerry will have to send me one to test for awhile just to be sure. :D ;)

I will even make a few videos of it and send it back when I am done. :D

That's the only way to really be sure you know. :D

That there is a real purty blade. It puts the knife in the basket or it gets the hose again.

Pardon me. I meant Marine Resistant. :foot:

I once spent a New Year's Eve with a bunch of marines...

I don't recall much of it. I do remember blowing Everclear fireballs off a balcony in Philadelphia, then chucking MRE bombs into an elementary school parking lot. And I'm pretty sure there was a sheep involved at some point.

ROFL. :D

I had about 8 or 9 K-Bars the 4 years I was in and broke or bent all but one of them doing general Marine field type stuff, back then we used our K-Bars for everything. :D

Ah yeah, though were the days, so long ago, but it was fun. :D

I'd like to say I broke mine fighting NVA hand-to-hand, but the truth is, I broke them prying open ammo boxes and sticking them in those Army munitions trailers after throwing them from my rough terrain forklift. Those big white stars were such great targets. I bet the Busse version could take it!

Try opening 81mm Mortar round Boxes and then unwrapping them, then chopping up the empty boxes for fire wood.

Then there was the ammo cans and fire wood and digging in rocky ground and prying rocks loose and or breaking rocks, prying locks off of lockers when they lost their keys etc and a ton of other stuff.

I humped more ammo than I can remember in '67 and '68. Bombs, rockets, CBUs, 20mm, .50cal, 7.62, 5.56, 45, napalm. We often used our ka-bars to break the bands off pallets of bombs. The knife was our multi-tool. Knife abuse was SOP. Once in a while, we even cut things with them. Today's troops have real multi-tools. Where was Busse Combat when I actually needed a super tough knife? To me, the Team Gemini 7 is a beautiful thing. I think it will make a fine combat/utility knife or SHTF knife for us old survivalist types.

Don't feel so bad, we didn't have anything in the early 80's either. :D

Multi-Tool what was that?

Choice of really good knives...... What was that?

I broke so many knives when I was in, and not just K-Bars either. ;)

Maybe that's why I like tough knives and Love Busse. :D
