Well, normally I think these things are given clever names to conceal their true purpose... However, in this case they, taking into account the location of the serrations (perfect placement IMHO, but I don't care for serrations) and the fact that they are available in multiples; could it actually be that they are really supposed to be steak knives? Tongue in cheek steak knives, but still steak knives?
