Sounds complicated to me, but as long as the crew at Busse gets it and it goes smoothly, then bring it on. I do like the idea of the refund if the order is later that specified. That should quiet down some of those folks who complain about having to wait so long. The seperate sheaths is a good idea, even though I will make my own for most of my blades. I can't wait to see what gets offered for options on these first ones.

Just to clarify are we to understand that, say the first run is only offered in tan and black, and then the April 2004 batch is only offered in DCBB or Satin, if you missed the Aug 2003 run you would have to wait for the third run to get the tan and black options (theoretical options for the sake of clarification only). I think I get it, I will just have to wait to see it in action to really wrap my little brain around it. :D

Yes!!!! The Fusion SH just in time for my birthday (to order any way :D).

Looks like there will be ample naming contests coming up. :D

Certainly not what I was expecting - but is definitely a smart move to increase efficiency and decrease delivery times. It also moves closer to a 'knife of the month' model that it seemed to be evolving to with the special offers, etc.

What about special offers? Will they continue to pop up from time to time either on the forum or as emails to those on the mailing list?

Knowing the history of the company and Jerry, I doubt that the little specials are a thing of the past, but I speak with no authority. I hope they keep up, just for their entertainment value if for no another reason. :D

November and December, come to papa!;)

I am with you Strabs, Now we have some sort of guide for monetary hording while we wait. Of course there will always be the temptation of those older models that surface and tempt the hog in all of us. It is going to take a great deal of self control to keep on track.

Everything sounds great so far Jerry, cant wait!

The only thing that concerns me is the thickness of the blades. I know how everybody here likes the fatties, but for anything smaller then a 7in blade, I like something around 3/16" in thickness (and closer to 1/8" in anything less then 4")

So whats the lowdown on the thickness of the different models (options maybe.. :D )?

Yargh. I have to wait til Februrary for mah BM.

*shudder*

And December for the SJ!

*shudder*

At least they should be here in time for next summer. :)

. . . . Three cheers for Jerry!

Hip hip!

mogmz: I believe that at Blade the smallest 1/4" blade was the NO. Everything smaller (BA, SJ, Tank Buster, etc.) was 3/16". The BA was especially sweet.

anybody have a pic of the new NO?
please post it
