When the new web site is up and running, will prices be up for all knives, or just the two that will be the onces currently offered at that time. And will there be a deadline to get knives ordered or will you have the entire 2 months...

Cerberus

There will be a deadline for ordering the knives. For example, the window for ordering the AD and the SFNO will close on August 31. That means that there will only be 3 weeks in which to order these two models!!!

Delivery will be 12-14 weeks from the ordering deadline on the first two models being offered.

At this time, only the two models being offered will have prices.

BTW,

"SF", "TAC" and "Fusion" designate the style of handle.

"SF" is a handle design we used on a Special Forces run and it was so well received that we have added it to our regular line.

"TAC" stands for the new "Tactical" handle.

"Fusion" - Well, you already know this one!

Hope this helps,

Jerry

Is it the big foot @9.6%, or is it the Crown, or is it the valium?

Just because, I guess. We've been giving the Meade a pretty good workout this summer so far. :)

Is it August yet..? I'm gonna put the shop number on speed-dial. :D

Jerry, i'm a little confused with the "new way" of doing things .

Can someone order a knife with the options they want or do they have to buy what your offering at the time ? Will it always be this way or is this just for the initial run of the new line. In other words, will there be a time when all knives with all options are available for purchase.

The other thing I was wondering was, if I put a down payment on a knife, does it have to be paid in full by the shipping date , or does that down payment hold that specific knife until it can be fully paid for ?

Thanks in advance .

CGD160,

It will only be possible to order your knife with the options that we offer on that particular model for that particular run. There should be anywhere from 10 - 20 different configurations for each model.

At this time, we only plan to offer two models per month, and they will ONLY be available during that month. As we add more models, the rotation should go from 8 months to 12 months or only 1 time per year. Meaning that you will only be able to order any given model during 1 month of every year.

As for down payments, we will need full payment at time of shipping. If a difficulty arises, we will, of course, work with you.

Our new approach is a bold idea and most folks in the industry that we have spoken to, think that we are insane for trying it! Hopefully, that means that we are on the right track! ;)

It ought to be fun!:D

Can we just sign up for the knife of the month club, and get those little post cards that you only send back if you don't want one?
That way I can tell the wife, "I forgot to send the card back again."
