eh, pass.

You really don't like it? It's growing on me quite a bit. I like the clip point on it as well as its size. What don't you like?

Ok, I'm all about this LE, but also...

...Is anyone else besides me thinkin' about how cool some of the Custom Shop versions & variants of this HG55 will be??? :D:confused::D:confused::D:thumbup::thumbup:

Or is it just me? ;)

No worries Jaxx.....your not on your own. That thing would look freakin amazing with pumpkin G-10 and a satin finish. Oh oh could you imagine a magnum sized version of that?:eek:

I tend to like big knives or smaller knives; in between, not as much. While I really like a clip point, I don't like it curved unless the blade has a recurve edge to complement it. The handle is all angular and straight, which, to my eye, clashes with the curved lines of the clip. YMMV. Let's drink!

If I can get that in red and black, I won't need Viagra anymore. It'll save me money in the long run.

Oh man, i do really like it after all...

And yes Jaxx, I'm also thinking about some incredible variants -- starting with a little more curve in the handle. This is very promising!

It looks like a more badass moderized old school satin jack !!!! if that makes any sense:D .. let's DRINK!!!!!:thumbup:

It reminds me of another famous makers pattern, I like the lines, it is distinctively Busse though.

it's a ZTSJ with a real tip!

I'm getting happier about this one by the minute...

that is a looker. I would really love to pick one up. I would like to see a tan handled/convex ground version.

I'm with you, I'm a Tactical knife person and this looks to be a Hunter to me.

.

Perhaps the pic is misleading. . . The 1/4 thick blade is only 1.160" wide with a very aggressive swedge ground trailing point. It screams "fighter" long before it screams "hunter". . . . And "fighter" screams "tactical". . . . . unless of course, you're drunk off of your seat in a fairly violent bar somewhere, then "fighter" screams "grab the car keys. . . the shotguns are in the trunk!!!" . . . :D

We have made quite a few combat grade versions for some very elite teams who were looking for a fighter/heavy duty tactical blade that would be easy to carry but tough enough for heavy abuse. The unique geometry of the military version fit the bill to a tee.

Let's Drink!!!. . . . More!!!. . .. . .
