Here's The BOSS HG55 LE. . . . YOWZA!!!!!

Perhaps the pic is misleading. . . The 1/4 thick blade is only 1.160" wide with a very aggressive swedge ground trailing point. It screams "fighter" long before it screams "hunter". . . . And "fighter" screams "tactical". . . . . unless of course, you're drunk off of your seat in a fairly violent bar somewhere, then "fighter" screams "grab the car keys. . . the shotguns are in the trunk!!!" . . . :D

We have made quite a few combat grade versions for some very elite teams who were looking for a fighter/heavy duty tactical blade that would be easy to carry but tough enough for heavy abuse. The unique geometry of the military version fit the bill to a tee.

Let's Drink!!!. . . . More!!!. . .. . .

Jerry :D

Maybe you could give us a straight down view, so we can see the knife without the distortion of that pic.

Dammit, I'm trying to SELL knives not buy them! Sigh. Time to start throwing $$ into a piggy-bank for the CG version. Maybe if I start chewing a mouthful of Folgers instead of a latte each morning I'll have the funds by the time the CG is available . . . . .

When I first saw that pic earlier today I thought (after the shock of how awesome it looked wore off) fighter all the way. Looks very fast and balanced. A great blade where speed is important.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but is it possible to get it with just regular micarta slabs?

Awesome hunte.... er, um, tactical knife. I am a hoping the financial manager of my house authorizes a purchase order for at least one of these.

I love the way you think Boss:D

It looks lean and mean, and I Diffidently want at lest one for E D C !

Hope to see some variants too, especially that cheese grader looking one.:D

I like it. It looks like Jerry Busse, Gary Randall, and Jeremy Horton all got drunk together and talked knives. :p

Thanks Jason, I needed that laugh this morning:D You nailed it !

It is a wicked looking knife!
I just can't decide if I would like the Horton like thumb grooves on this Blade style. They don't bother me as much as yesterday, so I'll probobally like them in a few days.

Thanks mostly to Trevor, I've had a chance to actually handle some Jeremy steel. Those thumb grooves may be dramatic, but they are also useful and really not irritating at all.

Of course, you could always put on a pair of gloves.;)

[Jeremy is fortunate I live way out in Virginia. After his recent display of mad mod skillz, I'd be hanging around his forge ... whining away about this and that ... casually displaying an 'almost perfect' Busse ... :D]

Although this one is far, far from what I typically like, it is one I'll regret not getting (Just like the CGFBM) if I can't. It is one of the VERY few blades with a clipped style point that I would even consider.
It looks extremely traditional, but tactical, and appears to be another one of Jerry's perfect hybrids.
