Here's The BOSS HG55 LE. . . . YOWZA!!!!!

how much one like that is gonna cost?
I need to know how much I need to save.

My guess would be 250-300 for CG and 450-500 for LE.

I agree with P-Easy... 300 for a CG and $450 for an LE with a DC CG in between in price. Hopefully this offerrring will have standard and magnum handles. This blade doesn't need mags IMO. The only negatives to the design are size (it's a tweener) and the clip point (second to a tanto in non-utility) but I am stoked to see a clip point fighter. We NEED more pics!!!

i agree, i was talking to another drunk and mentioned the sweep resembled a 1960's Vietnam era buck. only the sweep and convex resembles this, handles are totally diff. that is a 60's 70's era style. kind of a sexy sweep. jerry's blade looks to be taller, and of course .25 INFI!

Handles aside of course.:D

It also reminds me of the Buck 119 or 120, but the point is lower, and the swedge is longer, like a Persian fighter. The handle angle is different, too.

The LE is just beautiful, the prettiest Busse I have seen.

So what does HG55 mean?

hasn't been stated yet:

It's comin' next boys!!!!. . .

Garth found a box of my old patterns in my original shop!!! A case of CBL along with 2 rounds of Minni Britt Winni, and the Busse Old School Series (BOSS) was born.

We took my old HG55 pattern and gave it a modern Busse Combat treatment and Boy Howdy it looks pretty darned amazing!!! . . . :D. . . This blade was a very popular custom model for me during the early 1980's.

1/4" thick. . . . 5.5" Long Blade. . . . Thumb Grooves. . . Wicked cool ! ! ! !

Stay tuned for pics within the week!!!!

Let's Drink!!!!

You really don't like it? It's growing on me quite a bit. I like the clip point on it as well as its size. What don't you like?

choil. no fighter should ever have a choil on it, ever ever ever ever. a choil can get caught on thin cotton fabric. doesn't even have to be leather. any knife can be used as a "fighter", but if it's going to be a fighter from conception, there is no excuse for a choil.

I think i'd like this a little better then the satin jack, but I don't carry a satin jack for the same reason. bring the blade back to the guard and you've got (to me) a stunningly beautiful blade in every regard.

You are right about the choil. Busse's all seem to have huge choils. The SAR5 is the exception but it's handle is :barf:

A while back I added an upswept swedge to my RMD which when sharp makes using a ferro rod really easy...

Now it looks like I can have my Infi RMD but in a slightly thicker blade which actually I like even more! I only hope they will do a Double Cut Version of the LE with black linen grips! As a military user I think it is ideally tactical if the finish is right:thumbup:

If you pass on this one HOGS. RATS and DOGS, you'll surely live to regret it. I see it rivalling the old SATIN JACK in value increase. Can't have just one.
