Nice. Thank you.

Hmmmm, you are right. May be down for maintenance. Bill Horn is the owner and I know he also had them for sale on eBay. Try there, unless you already found one. Good luck
Oh OK. Thanks. I checked Ebay, and they had them for some inflated prices. Not a fan of that. Thanks again.

At first I was out off on the hest/f because of the whole RYP thing.

Now I REALLY want one of the regular production runs. Does anyone know when dealers like knifecenter will have them available for purchase? Anyone? RYP?

i am going to be at IWA in Nurenburg next week and discussing the cool new options for the existing HEST/F. We also have some cool dudes in the US that can do some stuff.

The goal is not to toss off scales in the normal color range but do something cool.

I just had one sent to my house from Chestnut Ridge. I thought I had canceled the order but I guess I had ordered two and only canceled one. I didn't really want the knife. The longer I looked at the knife the less it appealed to me and to top it off I'm out of the country until the end of May. I hope no one steals it off my front door step.

What is the story with the whole RYP thing? I missed it. I have seen it mentioned a few times now but have no clue what it's about.

Can anybody tell me how to remove the glass breaker? Do I need to remove the scales first? Thanks.

use the cross hole in the skull tool ?

Thanks for the very fast reply, boy I feel dumb...:p

Just want to share a few of my first impressions. I just receive the knife from the postman. The handle feels great, very grippy and yet not abrasive, very comfortable. Very solid construction, blade perfectly centered, no issues of the tip being exposed etc.

I seem to recall that the knife weighs more than 5 oz.? It doesn't feel like that in the hand.

Bottom line: I like this knife!
