Hey Trackers!!!!!!!

I say Squirrel and Fox.

Great pics bro, looks pleasant. Dont you find tracking to be relaxing? I do. Its the main thing I like about winter hiking/snowshoeing. I wish we had a snow worth a shit already!!!

Yeah the deer was too easy, but how about these.

If anything its a helluva spot to set a snare.

Its too hard to tell from the pics, but that four track pattern sometimes belongs to members of the weasel family. Are you close to water?

My gueses:

first one I'm guessing is a squirrel as the front paws are together unlike those of a rabbit (which comes later) I had some trouble with this one...

Second set I'd say is a fox. Looks small for a coyote.

Third set with SAK is likely fox also. Could it be bobcat? I don't see claws, but they could be old. The pee is interesting. Makes me think more of a male fox. Bobcat (I'm guessing) would be more sprayed.

TheOne's are rabbit. Front paws give it away.

Last set is squirrel digging through the snow for acorns.

Here are some tracks from last evening.

I tracked this animal for about a half mile.

It apparently tracked me as the tracks followed a trail through the snowy woods that me and my dogs broke a couple of days earlier, a light snowfall between our traverse and that of the animal made them easy to follow.

The tracks never strayed from my footprints and seemed to ignore the path taken by the two dogs.

I lost the track high up on the rocky ridge as light faded.
