High end pocket knives

I remember when I spent 200 on a Benchmade and thought that was a lot. Any more than that is just crazy. Then I got into fixed blades and started slowish then BAM it was on. Then I wanted ONE real nice folder so after looking and talking to people I bought a CRK Zaan. Then a small Sebenza 31. Then a large Inkosi. Then another large Inkosi. You see where this is going. Then I started getting some of REKs work. Actually I have a DUKling on the way. I admire the talent these guys have. It can get addicting.
 
What is anyone’s thoughts on Holt? I’m looking at the Morpheus. I like 3” blade and thin package. That one is just a touch over 1/2”. My REK sparrow is thin and it is amazing.
 
I really like the looks of the Koenig mini Arius non flipper but it looks a little thick in the scales.

I’ve tried to like the look of the Arius but it just doesn’t do it for me. Nothing against the knife or anyone who’s a fan of it. And I’m sure it is exquisitely made. However , I’d still like to handle one. After all , there are more than a few Spyderco’s that weren’t exactly lookers and once I had them in hand and used them became outstanding EDC’s for me.

Holt or Jesse Jarosz. Put off getting a Holt for a long time but just got an Outlaw recently and its pretty much a perfect knife through and through.

I want to graduate to an Outlaw, but I haven't made the move yet. There is a bit of getting in line with your spec, but they are making a lot of knives.
 
I've already purchased quite a few folders in the $700-1000 price range.

The only 2 that I'm currently considering in this range are an Oz Rosie XL & a Holt Morpheus.

Just started trying to get an Oz via 1 of their drops/lottos. No luck yet. Also had a few bites on BF but no luck there yet either.

Going to place an order for a Morpheus direct with Holt shortly. Just a4 wk wait for one per their website

I'm still thinking about buying a Squid Industries Tsunami balisong (had a chance to get 1 before but wasn't ready to pay that much then & they are even harder to find now than they were then).

I have also inquired about converting my CRK Large Sebenza into an auto but have not received a response from any of the Vallottons about getting it done yet. So, that doesn't going to look like it's going to happen.

The total cost of both of these would be in the $700-1000 range.

BTW, FWIW, my current arbitrary limit for buying any knife is $1k but I bought most of the knives in my collection in the $200-400 range
