Nice to see an old Lee-Enfield Sailorjosh. I've fired hundreds of rounds through similar weapons.
Here's my first khukuri, and it is wonderful. A 15" Ang Khola Villager. It is shown below sitting on the stump of a large clematis vine that it chopped through with ease. Behind it are a couple of the blades that it may now be largely replacing (except for work when I have to chop near the stony ground):
I thought that this khukuri might be good for roughing out bowstaves. I tried it on a seasoned, hard kanuka stave and it worked well:
This blade has a small tulip-like flower head engraved on it. I guess this means that it may have been forged by 'Dil'.
