"HOG Muk" Proto. . . Sneak Peek ! ! ! !

Hmmm what do you guys think about combat grade....?

I'm thinking it might ruin the look and have to just be a satin offering...

The CG would be cheaper, but I'd rather have a satin finish for this type of knife.

This would be one of the few satin Busse knives I own, if it is ever released.

I'm sure it would look fine, I'd take one of both! I love the look of that blade!

I'd be all for combat grade, simply because I can rarely afford the markup for satin INFI.

Plus I already have a satin Muk, so this would be a nice change

Scored a ScrapMuk in Easton. If I was half-a-useful guy I'd convex it. But I ain't. I'll just keep it v-ground for now.

There's one in Old Physics' Easton thread. He scored one too. Black handles. I like it. It's tempting me to other Muks in general.

Looking at the edge again, it might be a convex edge on a full-height-grind. I may only have to run it on the leather strop to get it nice and polished. Hmmmmm.

Edit - here's OP's

I've successfully gone 31 years in my life without buying a Busse. I normally get a chuckle out of the brand loyalty you guys have towards Busses but I can't get over this Hogmuck. This may be the knife I've been looking for. I almost bought a scrapmuk and am glad I didn't - I can't wait to see some reviews on this thing.

You should totally pick one up if you can find it at a good price - it is one of favorite of all my knives and one of my favorite bussekins by far - its stainless so its awesome for food prep and it slices like a demon. Also, the mudder grip is THE most comfortable handle I've felt - ergos are spectacular as well

That was one of the main things that made me look it at over some other 'muks I was looking at.

I keep my eye on the exchange for one.
