"HOG Muk" Proto. . . Sneak Peek ! ! ! !

Hey Jerry, I think its time to take the Bushwacker down and get this guy up  :D

Guys whats the story on this nessie? I'm in love :p

Did the Scrapmuk take its place?

An infi nessmuk would be my grail knife.

I've posted a couple of times about it and it appears to have gone the way of the folder--quashed. :(:grumpy:

The supreme dislike of the handle on the SAR5 may have lead to it's death but I'm not sure. Jerry himself has never posted anything about it. I think it'd be an awesome blade.

Haha - two threads are better than one :D

I wonder why they axed the Active Duty style handle on the bottom - so comfortable and with that palm curve it seems like it goes along well with the traditional nessie lines...

Such a useful little knife, hopefully this is produced sometime in the near future. I'd probably buy 2 as well, great design.

Jerry,

I really like the HogMuk's design, but I'm a bit confused...If the MiniMuk knife would be more of a carver/skinner, why not give it the same coil/talon hole treatment as the HogMuk? It seems to me that the choil/talon hole treatments should be reversed, based on the size and whatnot. I am intrigued by both, but would REALLY have use for the mini. I just hope that it ends up similar to the HogMuk proto so that the blade begins as close to the handle as possible for fine woodcrafting work.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. I want the Mini with the choil/handle/tucked talon of the HogMuk. That would be perfect! Simpler is better. Think Vex. You can even lose the hole over the choil.
