Got a little ginder time this evening.
Forgot to do a formal before pic so I tried to emulate some existing pics...

Before and after...






Not exactly like Dubz's chop in my signature but darn near. Think I'm happy with this for now.
 
Got the 20. OMG. How cool is this thing? Jiminy Christmas what a freagin awesome knife. Grind is sooooo much better than thought it was gonna be at 1/4. Pointy useable tip. Light weight for its size/strength! Damn!
I gotta do some more fondling.

Hey does anybody know if these are covered under KABARs warranty? This is an odd purchase and not sure if it is covered. I doubt could EVER brwk it anyways, just makes me feel cosy and secure with a warranty.
 
I would think it is. Regardless of production volume, it is a Production Knife after all.
 
I haven't received mine yet, should be here Thursday. I had my brother order a second one for me today, so the wife wouldn't go thru the roof. I'll have one set to keep nice and I'll use the others. This place is dangerous.

It sure is. I did not get on the forum all too much until I just happened along the BK20 on the kabar website the day it came out. (how lucky is that!!! I had been shopping for a good bowie for quite some time. I hopped on the forum to see what people were saying and I was almost immediately convinced to buy it. I was more of an ESSE guy before, but now I'm addicted to Beckers and to this Forum! I had always wished that Esse would make a bowie.. not anymore though!! (I will never throw away or stop carrying my esees though.. still just as good.. now I have some beckers to carry at the same time.. hope that's not blasphemous) Mr. Ethan makes some truly amazing designs. Next on my list is the BK7.. I need to recover from this first though.

No disrespect intended; and I understand your position.....but this did me a huge favor. I didn't have a 4 or 5; so this bundling was very good for me.

It's all a matter of perspective.

The 7 is my favorite full size. Great knife.

Why are you bitching about getting 2 free knives? If you would have bought 2 of the 20's for 200, then why didn't you? If you don't want the 4 and 5 then sell them and get some of the money back

It honestly isn't JUST you. I don't understand people bitching about the knife being too expensive, it's $200 if you can't swing that, then maybe you need to go back to using the Mora. People bitch about getting the 4 and 5 with it, if you don't want it then sell it. If you don't like Ka-Bar's new business model of doing limited production of new models, then go open your own knife company.

Personally, I got my 2 20's, I got my 2 4s (which are going to be gifts) and I got my 2 5s (which I haven't decided what's going to happen with them yet) and I'm perfectly happy with it.

Order placed last night, I needed a backup 4 and 5 so this worked out well for me! It's limited so there are going to be a bunch of guys down the road slapping their foreheads and saying "why didn't I get one of thoses when they were cheap?!?).
 
OK, it is done. The value is great. I do not care for the practice of bundling old stock but the blade is too sweet and the deal too good.

They are on route...
