Holy Grail Everyday Carry?

No grail knives just the ones which I already own and enjoy as well as the one that is on the way. There are a few others I wouldn't mind getting and I might be willing to pay for at some point in the future. The only grail thing for me are some watches which I will never have the chance to own.

Either of my 3 Sebenza's or a CQC7a. I've probably owned a doz. 7a's since they first came out and once I get rid of one I instantly regret it. Just an all around great folder that fits me to a tee. keepem sharp

Will make a conclusion on the last day of the month.

Any final applications?!

I'm hoping it'll be the Gayle Bradley 2 I'm ordering tomorrow [emoji16] but if not, on to the next contestant on the knife is right.

My name is George, and I approve this message.

My Protech TR-5..love this knife!

Would EDC my BM mini Infidel if I legally could.

I guess it's not out of the question to have more than one grail, here's another I love;

I am fortunate enough to have just come into ownership with my holy grail.
A 730-1501. Feels great in my clown sized hands.

gec bullnose. though i don't know that i would be any better off with it than the western utility that ive carried on and off for 30 years or more.

If you could pick any knife in the world, regardless of Cost, as your EDC, which one would you pick?

As I have aged, and played this knife game for 30 years, I've developed a growing antipathy toward spendy, blingy, feel good knives that don't actually cut stuff any better than their inexpensive or moderately-priced brethren. I still own several CRKs, ZTs, etc., and appreciate them for what they are. But over the years, the knives I really appreciate are the low and moderately-priced blades from Kershaw or SOG or Spyderco.

I could carry anything I want. But in my pocket now as I head to church is a gray Spyderco Delica with superblue/420J1 steel and theoriginalspacement deep clip. I appreciate light weight, highly functional knives that bury deeply in the pocket. Knives that won't make me cry if I lose it. A knife I could give to someone if the feeling hit me.

Each to his own. I understand the alure of a spendy knife, and might buy a dealer exclusive Para 2 sometime just to make myself feel good. I've just grown somewhat weary of the spendy genre. So for me a Spyderco or Kershaw will do the trick just fine.

I also have several Kershaw, CRKT, Schrade (Taylor - not so bad), RR, Colt, Marbles. But my never leave home without it is a SAK Tinker.

I'm currently working out final details for my grail with Alan Davis, a small 6" (OAL) fixed blade drop point of my own design and with ergonomics fitted to my hand, with desert ironwood scales and Damascus steel. The design and materials are not particularly exotic, original, or radical, but neither am I.

What makes it a grail in my mind is that is mine. I conceived of it, drew it, made models of the handle and blade, discussed the details with Alan, and am getting it made. No other knife I buy is ever likely to be mine in quite the same way. The fact it will likely be the single most expensive knife I ever purchase is irrelevant, as there are plenty of production knives that are more expensive. Those aren't mine.
