Holy Trinity- What 3 knives make a great trio/carry option?

I default to an alox SAK, a Bark River fixed blade (mostly), and a CRK or Spyderco folder.

Right now: PJ Sebenza 21, Bark River ULB green canvas micarta in 3V, and the Alox Minichamp on my keychain.

Given the number of folders, fixed blades and SAKs I own, the combinations are endless. It all depends on the season, weather, agenda, and mood.

I also like to sharpen in batches, so not everything is available all the time.

I'm a carpenter by trade and love utility and building things so;

SAK; for a small blade and it's additional tools.

Small - medium sized knife with a scandi grind; for smaller work, currently an Enzo trapper (Elmax).

Larger knife - for batoning, processing and larger work - currently a Lionsteel M7.

Although I'd also wish to carry an axe and folding saw which would negate the larger blade/knife.

Reate Torrent for show.

CH Emperor to use.

QSP Parrot to be ridiculously fidgety and to pry open any windows I might need to.

If I had to pick only 3- SAK Tinker, either a Case Trapper or Buck 307 Stockman, and a Cold Steel 4Max Scout. I usually carry more though. Thanks for sharing.

The ideal 3 would vary depending on activity, but I think this is a good all-around trio for me.

Sebenza (could just as easily go with my Inkosi), Victorinox Compact (Scissors, Cap lifter, and nail fail are my favorite trio of SAK tools BTW), and SE Dragonfly (I don't like serrations on my primary folder but they can come in handy for many tasks).

A few years ago, I had two unforeseen overnighters hit me (*within a few-week period) at a couple of different Ranches here in South Texas. Both times, I was horribly unprepared. You'd think I woulda' learned my lesson after the first time. But, nope. Once the sun and temps starting dipping, I just had to suffer 'til the daylight...twice. So, over the few years that followed, I got to setting-up a couple or three Pelican 1450 boxes as kind of a "grab & go"/"no thinking"/convenient option. The boxes have been kinda' fluid in their evolution, but have been a huge success for my uses.

Anyhow, I was out at a certain property this week a bit, and this is the box that was with me, behind the seat of my truck... (*Busse Hell Razor 2, ESEE-5, and Ontario Rat 1 in AUS8)
