Yeah, I was thinking of Love's Travel Stop. You're talking at 39°49'50.21" N 89°35'01.15" W
Yup! That's the one. I've never been to the Loves. No clue how that food there is. However I've never had good luck food wise at Loves.

That depends, what do you weigh? Last time I stepped on a scale it hovered around 250# and my clothes certainly haven't gotten any looser since then :o
I'm sitting about 290 right now. Although my pants have gotten looser since I been playing racquetball, however my weight has gone up slightly. I was sitting at about 280.

280 is where I'm at right now too. I was 290 a few weeks ago, my all time heaviest.

I'm still down from my all time. My all time was 335. I was a big guy, but my saving grace when I weighed that, I also had the hint of a six pack. Ahh loving playing football and being healthy then.

I gotta get off this lifestyle I've been living. Not healthy at all.

In a completely different topic, in my facebook I have all these "disability advocate" people because well, they are deaf and they are always looking to support each other. So tonight I get this across my feed Aspiring Model With Crohn's Disease Isn't Afraid To Show Colostomy Bags In Bikini Photo I don't know what her intent is, but when I think "model" "bikini pictures" "that's hot" the thing that NEVER enters that equation is "has her crap in a bag on her stomach"... That just... Kind of kills the mood. That is one of those "deal breakers" for me... "Oh baby, I love you so much... let's just set the bag of crap off to the side of the bed..." NO! just... NO!

Chameleon are you Deaf? Our family has recently been integrated into the Deaf community, my youngest son (1.5 years old) was born Deaf. We have absolutely loved getting to know the culture and getting our family involved in the community! We have been learning ASL for about a year now, never thought I could learn another language!

Wow.... the dogs were barkin as the cars were parkin, the loan sharks are sharkin and the SNARKS are SNARKIN! (Can anybody tell me whats thats from?)

Been away from the snark thread for a few days. Lets see if I can catch up.

TBL, congratulations on the kid.hope you all and mommy are well.

Dubz, Awesome on the cabin man, really happy for you. And just for the record. I said Murph WAS a big ass, not had a nice ass.....big difference.

Everybody else, happy birthday, welcome back, congratulations, good luck, happy Hanukkah, that sucks, my condolences, smoke and prayers and all that shit. Just pick one that best suits your situation and there you go!

The self employment thing is still going well as far as not having to go to the previous shithole of employ everyday. Everything else however is taking a lot longer than expected. Finally landed some heath insurance, (I think) my new shops construction is not going very fast. To much to do and not much help. Havnt done much knife work, which I hate. Hopefully, get things to some kind of normalcy this month.

Something something danger zone.

I need to jump on the move my fat ass challenge. This broken foot and not being able to go on day long woods excursions has me up to 250. Not very attractive on my small 5'8 body. I say this like I have the inability to choose a nice crisp salad over the french fries, though...I think that's my big problem maybe...

Hey Todd, did you ever get around to listing the rest of your Blade show leftovers or have things been too hectic?

Since you asked. I didnt even have to post them. I took three knives with me to sell while I was on vacation the week after blade. What I didnt expect was I got hit with emails and PM's the whole week on what I had left. Pretty much everything is gone. What I do have left I havnt gotten around to posting.

What I have left.

2 M-18's

2 of the clipped Yuma's (the knife with no name)

1 regular Yuma in 5/32 stock, pink and tan G10 handle

Thats it! Thats all the stock I have.

Thanks Todd! Mom and boy are doing great.

My all time high for weight was after a knee injury. I'm 5'11" and was weighting 264lbs. I then went on a diet and exercise routine when I was off being a stay at home daddy and dropped down to 184lbs. Now depending on if I'm in a mood to diet or be a fat guy I hover between 190-210. Current weight is 202lbs and I plan on dropping a little bit again after we get into a normal routine again with the family. My biggest problem as far as eating goes is type of food and portion control. I was a personal trainer at one point in my life and knew dieting inside and out, but when it comes to good food I can't just eat a 6oz steak...it needs to be 16-20oz (or more). If I make a rack of ribs I need to eat the entire rack, and there can't be any left overs ect. The good part is that I have identified my problem and weakness which makes losing weight easy when I wish to do so.

Well that's good for you. Oh well, I probably should be trying to save my money anyway. Maybe I'll hit you up in six months or so after I do my taxes.

Thanks man, appreciate it.

I knew it was something like that, haha.

I'd be a happy camper if I were down to 250 again. The wife took some photos of me when we were in Missouri Sunday. We stopped at Taum Sauk mountain for a smoke. Anywhos, I know I'm overweight, but when I saw those photos, daaaaaamn was the word that came to mind. That, and fat.

This. Last year about this time, we went on vacation, and when I saw the pictures, I wondered who the hell that fat guy was with my kids.
I got busy. I've run, hiked, trained in the gym, biked, whatever I could do. I'm 60 lighter, and I feel so much better.
This past weekend, had I tried to run Jeff's survival course in last year's shape, it would have been a completely different ballgame.

Thanks Todd! Mom and boy are doing great.

Portion control! Yes. I have to eat large amounts of food. I think since I gave up drinking and drugs almost a year and a half ago now I slipped back into my old habits of eating until I can't physically stuff anything else in my mouth. Just this morning I downed four big ass Panera bagels. One would have sufficed if I would let it hit my stomach fully. I need to get serious about eating better and exercising more even with my foot being encased in this stupid boot. I do not want to get back to my heaviest weight at 280. I was so close to getting down to my goal of 200 until this immobility hit and I threw calories on top of my misery lol.

Yep, one of the hardest things by far is portion control. Getting started is the worst part too because you always feel hungry until you master vegetables. Very large salads are your friend for losing weight..... but be weary of what you top them with. Keep the croutons and dressing to a minimum. Try adding about 1-2 oz of cheese or 4-5 oz of chicken to make it a "meal".

I can normally stay on track for 3-6 months then I take a break and put back on 10-15lbs haha.
