Hornswoggled!

Some Ram Horn scales on this lambsfoot. White G-10 underneath the horn. You can see some texture through the horn. They might have looked quite different with a different color G-10. I like Dave’s Horn with green G-10 underneath. I wonder how they would look with red G-10?
Some “blind pins” you can see through the horn next to the bolsters.

I don't do red liners very often. Here's one I did for Charlie:

I tend to do it on the Himalayan rams horn as the brown tint of the horn handles the red better than the white of the merino sheephorn. Brown Himalayan

Just for info I use traditional vulcanized fiber for liners and spacers. Much safer than G10. That stuff is nasty.

Dave thanks for the pics. The vulcanized red liners make that both types of horn look great and interesting.

Lawton Cutlery Co. Goins says 1890-1895. Located in Chicago. They were importers and jobbers of cutlery. Possibly made by NYK Co. or Walden. "Square deal" etch.

Amazing Horn, looks like it could have come from a Minotaur in Greek myth! The stripes are beautiful and the condition and workmanship astounding. Do you have any boring or even common knives ? ;)🤣 Breathtaking piece of cutlery & history.

Thanks, Will
