Hornswoggled!

I also love a little bit of buffalo horn. Here are some Queen's made Northwoods from the Dave Shirley era. I think the 3rd from the left is a little reminiscent of the Northern Lights.

And then of course, ram's horn always has a great texture.

Liking this thread!
Here's one of my knives with more Bull Horn from "La Corrida" In this case, it's from the section of the horn closer to the tip, so not translucent like the lower section of the horn closerto the skull. Still shows some of the surface texture and scars the Bull picked up:

Stunning Charlie, very generous gifts my friend :)

Time to bring this thread up again! Beautiful knives keep appearing!!
Among several knives I wheeled and dealed for at my club meeting yesterday is this exhibition grade, or salesman's grade Doctor's knife, by Fabyan Knife Co, Germany.
It has a scroll on the back of the blades touting the name "WELL KNOWN", perhaps a trade name. There is also a salesman's number on the back of the spatula.
My guess is that some medicine bottles in history had corks, hence the screw, but that's a guess.
I am arranging a Horn-themed display case, and this one definitely makes the cut!! (pun intended!!:))

Great thread, Waynorth, and with so many beautiful horn handled examples shown.
I'm a sucker for multi-colored horn and here are a few examples. A German Graef & Schmidt, and a John Petty from Sheffield.

Sorry, problem with photobucket???
