Ugh!!! I hate being torn in two different directions. I am trying to decide whether to blow my tax refund (the small part not ear marked for property taxes) on a new William and Henry folder or a new Beretta Tomcat .32...What is a guy to do that loves both blades and firearms. Life just isn't fair. Why counldn't I have been born rich instead of pretty.

I guess I'd opt for the William and Henry folder. Though it's probably going to set you back more than the Beretta. I guess if I really needed a BUG, the Beretta would have to come first. But if it was just a matter of adding a new pistol to my collection, I'd take the W & H for aesthetic reasons.

Decisions, decisions. . . .

If you can legally carry a gun, I say go for the Tomcat. They are great little guns. As much as I love knives, guns always seem to win out when I have this choice.

if you don't have a gun, then you'll need it.... but if you have more than one gun sell them and get the W H.:D

.32 ??? that's a gun ??? In the old days you could get an Elgin pistol cutlass.

I've been eyeballin' those Tomcats for quite a while now, they look like sweet little guns.
Can't help you much on the decission though, a guy wants what he wants! ;)

I have my concealed permit for both oregon and Washington but I do not really carry. I just want the Tomcat for what i call a "glove box" gun for my truck.

I'd say go for the Tomcat. Its probably me just saying it because I want and cant get a pistol for 2 mores years...I feel the gun is also more of an investment and as you say you want it to be a gun for your truck which is not a bad idea if you dont alrwady have one.

The .32 Tomcat was designed with concealed carry in mind. It'll fit nicely in the pocket of your jacket or even your jeans (although a clip-on holster would be better). Load it up with Silvertips.

For a gun that's intended to go in your glovebox, I'd advise you to get a .357 with a 4" barrel . . . if the magnum rounds kick too hard, load it up with .38 +P.

I might suggest looking at the Beretta model 21 Bobcat (very concealable and rumor has it that it is used by the Israeli Secret Service). I have one in .22 cal and it kicks out rounds like you would not believe in such a small package. With the high velocity .22 hollow-point shells available I think it is as potent as the .25 or .32 cals.

You would then have enough to get a nice knife also like a Benchmade RSK. The S30V steel is very highly regarded and found in knives cost 2 or 3 times as much as this one. I like it because it feels good in my hand.
