Finished off a few more Christmas items:

This Rangeflap holster looked good with one of the In Stock knives and sheaths.

Had a pretty good run on rifle scabbards too. Made five different ones.

That kinda wrapped up our Christmas orders for us.

I always joke about being semi retired these days..... let me share with you The Ghosts of Christmas Past:

Remember while most of these aren't showing knives in them I did make the knives too to go in them too. An average Christmas rush would be two batches this size.

Working....

Edited to add: It'd help if I would actually include the pic I was talking about.

I posted this pic one Christmas time saying I was all done. Remember one guy, another leather bender, saying if he had to do that much prior to Christmas we'd find him under the bed curled up in the fetal position. Always thought that was funny!
I bet there were several very happy people this Christmas morning! Beautiful work as always Dave.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

A few posts back I mentioned a friend of mine recognizing my new Cowboy and telling me about a couple of knives he bought from Dave in person at a horse show. He does still have the knives and sent me a picture!

Very cool thanks for sharing that pic. Kinda shows how designs evolve. On the left is a very early Sonoran Skinner. On the right a Coyote. The Skinner's blade has changed significantly in shape. That Coyote was hollow ground and they've been flat ground now for some years. Lil more of a sharpening choil these days too on both blades.

Thank you David and to you and yours!

Snow in the back ground for Christmas. We have 100 degree temps with bush fires. The world is a complex place. 🎅 🎅 🎅
Been a cpouple years since we've had a "white" Christmas. There was a small chance this year but it was a wet Christmas instead. Yes it is.

I hope so! Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

He puts them at about ten years old. Was a rather funny conversation as I was showing off my “new” knife from a fella I was sure he’d never heard of and apparently he was cool long before I knew what cool was. 🤣

It feels weird to not have a pending order out there now...
Fear not sir! The first batch of 2025 are just about done!

I was working on handle shaping yesterday. Just about done with that, will be hand sanding by noon. Trimming excess yesterday morning first thing:

Relief is just a click away! 😁
Heck or a phone call, an email, smoke signals......, all manner of communications. My morse code sucks so maybe skip that one......
